Look at it this way, you already know the worst song on the album (bitch bad). Everything else is better. Most of which is significantly better.

Do people really not like "Bitch Bad" that much?

I actually enjoyed that song. It wasn't his greatest it definitely wasn't horrible by any means.

Compared to the rest of the album...it's pretty bad, in my opinion.

Common announces new album; due in January 2013

Common has announced plans to release his upcoming tenth album in January 2013.
During an interview with MTV News to promote G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer, the Chicago, Illinois rapper revealed that he's currently writing the LP. He also plans to hit the studio with frequent collaborator No I.D., and hopes that Kanye West will join the fold for the project.

"I am writing a new album. It will be coming out in January, and I'm looking forward to that," he said. "My stuff will come at the top of the year maybe some songs out there on the street level, I'm going to work with No I.D. and looking to hopefully work with Kanye [West] and that's some of the major people I'll be working with, and whatever other great talents that I feel are going that direction that I want the album to be."

Common most recently dropped his ninth album The Dreamer, The Believer in December 2011. The LP debuted at No. 17 on the charts with 69,000 copies sold.

I expect a delay (or delays) but if he can really get with No ID AND Kanye then damn am I looking forward to this.

I've been annoyed by Lupe for awhile but this album is pretty good so far, it's certainly much better than the bull**** that is Lasers.

Yeah, it's not too bad so far.

I like Audobon Ballroom, Put Em Up, and Battle Scars (this one could be a pretty big hit).

Lamborghini Angels is the weakest track so far IMO.

I look at the album like this: This makes up for dropping that basura known as Lasers. That's how good this is(after 2 listens so this is subject to change)

It's time for Common to just go away.

He'll never top Be, which still gets heavy play on my iPod, but at this point just feels like a tag along with the G.O.O.D. Music movement.

Let other guys get their shine. After the whole Drake mini-beef he just comes off really corny to me now.

Looks great. Plus, it has my baby Meagan Good in it.

As for his music. I'm always up for some new Common. Even if the album only produces a few stand out tracks. It's better than nothing.

I actually liked Lasers a lot, but this CD is ****ing fantastic. The singles that he released from this are like all of the worst songs on the CD. Everything else is great.
