I'm mad I haven't been able to listen to MCHG yet (I don't bootleg album efforts from my favorite artists). I need some new new for the gym.

And I'm still shaking my head at Yeezus - I really have to really sit down and listen to it. I can't get into it at the gym at all - the beats kill my vibe.

Why don't you stream it then? Or do you consider that bootlegging too? I don't really fully understand the problem if you choose the support the artist anyway to tell you the truth, but that's just me. I mean I get principles and all, but you're going to buy it anyway.

so, I haven't been in this thread in forever and really haven't paid much attention to music and what's been coming out lately. I got Lupe and Timberlake because they're my favorite artists, but other than that I haven't been up on anything (still haven't listened to Kendrick Lamar). So, I decide to see if I can get Robin Thicke's album (because I love the single), I see it isn't out, but I see

J. Cole

all have new albums out? New to me anyway. They could have been out months and I wouldn't know. But that's a lot of new music.

Jay, Kanye and Cole all just released within the last 3-4 weeks. Wale also has a new album out as well. Oh, and Mac Miller, but I've never really listened to him.

There are some good to okay tracks on Yeezus past the first 3. Mainly Bound 2 and Blood On The Leaves. Aside from that, it's pretty much recycle bin material.

And if you really haven't listened to good kid, m. A. A. d. city yet, you have to. IMO it was an instant classic and probably the first truly great rap album of this decade (along with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy before I forget).

I really liked that album too but there was just one too many skipable tracks IMO. The biggest being Summer On Smash.
