Is that really a surprise? Hell, you could say he's #1 on name alone which is something not a lot of rappers can do.

    Top 15 Kanye Songs:

    1. Drive Slow
    2. Crack Music
    3. We Major
    4. All Falls Down
    5. Gorgeous
    6. We Don't Care
    7. Jesus Walks
    8. Through The Wire
    9. Flashing Lights
    10. Big Brother
    11. Hell of a Life
    12. Welcome To Heartbreak
    13. Say You Will
    14. Good Morning
    15. Can't Tell Me Nothin

Damn, that was harder than I thought it would be.

Even with his Yeezus Trash, I can give him a pass on that album because he's put out one of the best discographies over the last 10 years, personally.

    I got one for ya'll: What's everyone's Top 10(or 15) 50 Cent Songs?

No, it's not. The surprise is moreso that Cole nearly pushed 300K and gave Kanye a good run for the #1 spot, as well as 3 rap albums all going over 100K in the first week, which I don't think has happened since '09 or '07.

My top 15 50 Cent songs goes something like.....

      1. 21 Questions (ft. Nate Dogg)
      2. Best Friend
      3. Hustler's Ambition
      4. Many Men (Wish Death)
      5. Wait Until Tonight
      6. In Da Club
      7. Places To Go
      8. Ryder Music
      9. God Gave Me Style
      10. If I Can't
      11. You Took My Heart
      12. Window Shopper
      13. Ayo Technology (ft. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland)
      14. Outta Control (ft. Mobb Deep)
      15. The Invitation

For me, I think it's his approach. I don't like "how" he raps I guess, idk it's hard to put in words. But like after hearing so much praise for the guy in this thread I decided to check him out, and i downloaded Blue Chips, Dr. Lecter and Rare Chandeliers, and I listened to 2 of them and wasn't impressed, nor interested in even listening to the other one.

I also heard his features on No Idols, and Watching Movies and those did nothing for me either. Actually, I think the songs would've been better off without him. Even in the songs you posted for me, the first two were "Meh", and the last one started off like it would be great, then delved back to "Oh". No hate for the guy, but I can't get behind his music.

I thought Cole could've taken that number 1 spot since pretty much everyone listened to Yeezus before release. I can't speak for everyone, but it only had 10 songs, and I deleted 4 of them.. and I was a fan of both MBDTF and 808's & Heartbreak. Oh well good run nonetheless, and I'm sure Mac Miller isn't disappointed.

                Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Top 15 Kanye West songs? That's a tough one.

I did go through his studio albums right now and realized the album where I have the most favorites from was Graduation. Which is my second favorite Kanye album.

I'll have to take a closer look as I never really thought about it. So this is subject to change

From an album perspective I have this

                College Dropout -
                All Falls Down
                Jesus Walks
                Through The Wire
                Family Business
                Last Call

                Late Registration -
                Touch The Sky
                Late

                Graduation -
                Champion
                I Wonder
                Good Life
                Can't Tell Me Nothing
                Flashing Lights
                Everything I Am
                The Glory
                Big Brother

                MBDTF -
                Devil in A New Dress

Now I like other songs on these albums, but I was trying to come up with my favorite and keep it at 15.

                    14) The New Workout Plan (The first half of the song is probably my instrumental ever)
                    15) Get Em High

Not quite. Of course he had Cole on this joint but I was really referring to the gap of time between songs before he put out stuff like 9AM In Dallas & 5AM In Toronto. It's not that someone else needs to be on the track with him but he needs to feel like he's being doubted lyrically and has something to prove to whoever.

For now on, you can no longer list what grade you were in or how old you were when a song dropped.
