I watched the Budden vs Hollow battle this morning. Wasn't really impressed by either rappers but was kind of surprised the judges had a unanimous Hollow W. I'll give Budden props for being a pretty established veteran MC and having the balls to step into the ring of battle rap, but he completely folded up in the last round. He let the crowd beat him. Also thought he got shook a little bit when Hollow was talking about Tahiry and his mom. And negative points to Hollow for taking 2 minutes out of the battle to do a captain save-a-hoe tough talk monologue in the 3rd round. 3rd round was wack all the way through.

The crowd there was so simple minded. It was annoying. Alot of Budden's bars they weren't even getting.

Hollow has always been lame to me and this battle was no different. Even with Joe dropping the mic in Round 3, I feel like he still 3-0ed him. That is how bad Hollow was, and he knew he was losing when he attempted that nonsense where he tried to act tough and threatened to beat Joe up.

Budden's only downfall was his delivery, but lyrically, it was no contest. Budden won hands down.

Oh man I just saw the last round of the Joe-Hollow battle, some of his bars were nice but the way he kept feeling the need to point out how nice they were and the crowd booing made the whole thing hilarious.

I didn't know who Hollow was until I saw a Breakfast Club interview the day before the battle (it was hilarious), but his stuff in the last round was wack.

I wish Joell would've battled, he's vicious. I don't care for Budden either way.
