This was also 15 years ago, when the internet wasn't as prominent and accessible and dudes were still putting diss records on their albums. Hell even then, Dipset would have diss records ready for cats a day later lol
You can't compare the game to what it was almost 2 decades ago.
Too much advancement in technology. Guys have access to studios everywhere, including that bus Meek used to get to Montreal. A trip he still didn't record on lol
Let us not forget, Jay started that beef with recorded bars. Like rappers should do. Meek started this beef with Drake on twitter and has yet to give us one record. You talk about a guy not being real, and not being a rapper, yet Drake is the one bullying dude on wax, being real and being a rapper. Talk about a guy not writing, yet he's out writing you as you sit there on social media deflecting on why you haven't responded and have your mans talking tough tweeting like this is about some street **** and you're going to beat Drake up? His whole crew is looking like some clowns right now. Meek made it about rap, yet doesn't want to rap lol
It's like a game of pickup basketball, where the one guy wants to throw hands because you're torching him on the court and he knows he can't stop you.
Meek lost. We know for a fact he isn't going to give us anything Ether level so bringing that up is pointless. Even that "Repo" diss wasn't worth the 2 month wait.

Jay and Nas' beef didn't start initially on wax. That **** started off wax because of some stuff he did and eventually landed on wax IIRC

And like Jodye said, the difference between this and the Ether 3 months or whatever is that you dissed a guy on Twitter saying he can't write, and then he makes 2 diss songs against you and you still haven't said **** in all that time except for lame tweets. The internet now is like a hyperbolic time chamber. You lose the gift of time when you go on social media to state your insults lol.
