I'm not an Eminem fan at all. His flow and beat selection are terrible to me. Only stand out track off the Bad Meets Evil EP is the song with Slaughterhouse.

I'm a big eminem fan, but yeah i don't really like this album much. I really like Fast Lane and the one featuring slaughterhouse isn't bad.

I feel he deviated too much from his normal album style, missing those good slow raps, etc.

Hmm...just throwing it out there...but Im pretty sure Em's flow changed a lot when he sobered up...just saying.

Maybe, I guess it has changed in a sense of hes had way less personal problems to rap about. Although I really loves Recovery but it was different then his other albums before he was sober now that i think of it

              J. Cole's single from his performance last night, hope he gets the sample cleared soon enough that he can release it soon.

The song samples Kanye's "New Workout Plan" and Paula Abdul's "Straight Up"

Exactly my thinking my man! I honestly feel like Em needs to hang up a lot of the "me music." Right now he is not the same angry and immature person he used to be.

He doesn't have it in him to make a Without Me or Real Slim Shady anymore imo. Right now the rhymes that sound similar to his old style sound fake and forced. Where I think he will find some real inspiration is to get back to rapping about social issues or problems with the world today.

Songs like White America is what he should get back to. This to me will give him that fire back because to me lyrically he's even stronger now. Listening to Relapse and even Recovery you can tell that as a lyricist he has really gotten better over the years.

So it would be great to see him get back to creating stories and talk about making a change. He's made one in his own life now he should focus on making one in others.

you guys definately don't understand...the "it" that was in him, was drugs and alcohol...now with that not being there, it will definately change his flow and how he goes about it, and obviously his lyrical content

No I.D. is one of my favorite producers right now. This beat is so soulful.

Can anyone help me find good hip hop? I'm stuck in the south where literally everyone loves Wayne, Drake, Waka, Gucci, etc. I think they all suck. I love Lupe's The Cool, and Food and Liquor. I don't really like Lasers that much. I like Kid Cudi's first album, but thought his second album sucked. I sorta like Wiz Khalifa and Kanye. I've been trying to get into the Roots, POS, Mos Def, but I'm not feeling it, I felt it was all lyrics and the beats weren't that catchy imo. I want good lyrics which don't involve made up words and giggles (Wayne), but I also want good beats that can pump you up and get stuck in your head. Any help?

Have an Ipod/Iphone? Pandora. Type in something you like and youll find awesome stuff you couldnt of found by yourself. Try some biggie, em, fabolous, rakim, big l, T.I., GZA, RBX.

Its all in preference man. Things that I think are good beats might suck to you. Just find something you like and go from that
