Why does everybody hate on MMG Wale? You all are just making beat-based judgments IMO. Don't dislike the man for his versatility.

The lyrical content and flow are still there if not better than before. His verses on "Rise" and "Fitted Cap" were pure genius.

I'm not hating on Wale because of his versatility or for any reason for that matter. I just like his music pre MMG more than I like the MMG stuff with him on it.

Well, I took the fact that you named "Wale pre MMG" as good hip-hop to mean that MMG Wale was not good.

I wouldn't say "not good" but Paint A Picture, 100 Miles and Running, and Mixtape About Nothing are better than anything I've heard from him in a while.

This is about as close as Tyler, The Creator is going to get to a radio type of song. Probably one of the better songs on Goblin next to Nightmare, Tron Cat, and Her. I'm not sure why embed won't work for me anymore.

I started getting annoyed with Wale before the Rawse stuff but since he has gotten involved with him he has tried to be the typical ignorant radio rapper. He may have some songs where he is more lyrical but the majority of what I hear from him now is his attempt to fit in with the rest of the ****ty rappers in that group.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I love Lupe's The Cool, and Food and Liquor. I don't really like Lasers that much. I like Kid Cudi's first album, but thought his second album sucked. I sorta like Wiz Khalifa and Kanye. I've been trying to get into the Roots, POS, Mos Def, but I'm not feeling it, I felt it was all lyrics and the beats weren't that catchy imo. I want good lyrics which don't involve made up words and giggles (Wayne), but I also want good beats that can pump you up and get stuck in your head. Any help?
                        Definitely Big Krit

He has the lyrics you're looking for and most of his beats are cool

If you love Outlast and UGK, you'll like Krit

                        BTW

Is it me or is Luda very underrated?
