Creative, but yeah, I doubt he meant it like that.

I don't need any deals. The checks I get from producing clear the bank the exact same way.

I'm more "bitter" that I know there are more stans like yourself that actually listen to this garbage and allow these so called artists to get deals in the first place. Embarrassing.

Like who you like, but don't come in and try to act like that is hip hop and say we're bitter if we don't like it. Or don't get offended when people trash the video, because it is indeed, trash. My 10 year old brother could construct a better verse than I've ever heard this guy put on wax.

BANG BANG, BANG BANG BAfkweajfewjfoiawhgoiurwhaoif. What a joke. I'm from Chicago. Sensible people from the Chi DO NOT rock with this dude. Give this guy another year and he'll fade away like all the clowns before him, putting out the same garbage.

          Speaking of producing.

I just found out NI Maschine has a price drop until the 31st! It goes from $599 to $399 for the full version. Ive been holding out all year about getting one especailly with the new MPC coming out soon. I may just get the Maschine tho.

I've never been a fan of the Maschine.

One, I just don't like drum pads all that much, and I already have them on my Akai keyboard, and two there is no integration with Traktor for when I use FL, and no ReWire. The two main programs I use.

Personally, I feel like I have more control in the DAW itself.

Yea, thats another reason Ive been holding out.

I currently have a MPD26 and I hate the buttons on there. They are way too different than the MPC's.

I also need a better way to edit my samples. Ive been using audacity but recently just said screw audacity and just use Logic's way of sampling and editing.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Personally I think Reason and FL are the most intuitive DAWs when it comes to sampling. I could never really get a handle in Logic, and being such a heavy Pro Tools user, the UI in Logic just frustrated me, so I didn't give it much of chance.

I think what I'm doing now works well for me and the best part about it, is that both FL and Reason can be ran through Pro Tools which makes it incredibly easy when it's time to mix. Love it.

Only thing I'm thinking about upgrading is my keyboard to a 49 key. Started taking intensive Piano lessons and I want to be able to practice at home on it. I know theory in and out, but want to be able to apply it on the spot.

                Yes please.

Def FL is the most easy to use daws out there. Only thing I regret about going with a Mac. I know i can use bootcamp but I just realized that after the fact I purchased logic lol.

Ive been looking for a new 49 keys also. Might have to look at that! Is that like a new version of the the MPK?

*******, 13. Just lighten up and enjoy the music for what it is. Sheesh. The fact that you're not feeling something does not make it trash.

I'm pretty sure a majority of the people in this thread have a similar feeling.

There a lot of things I don't feel, that aren't trash. I can respect the music. Keef doesn't fall in that category. Guy has no talent whatsoever.

Don't call him a rapper if that's what bothers you so much. He makes good music, easy and fun to listen to.
