I think what bothers him (and others) isn't calling him a rapper, it's saying he makes "good music."

It's just...not that good. At all. More power to you if you like it, but you can't get this defensive every time. You know how most people feel about him, so there should be no surprise when you post his **** and we call it ****.

      Meh about this whole conversation.

So long as he and Waka Flocka stay in they lanes and I ain't mad. It's not like he has the power to crossover into the mainstream or anything. Not to mention an attempt at an album would fail miserably, simply because I don't think he has the range nor technical skill for it IMO.

I'm fairly certain he can make a good living off concerts and live shows though

Live shows are where all the money is anyways and he has the perfect act for it.

It's funny that you tell him to lighten up but you're the one always getting upset when people criticize your hero.

Two hip hop/rap related things that I absolutely loathe.

                1. Anyone who says they don't listen to hip hop, but I like Eminem.

                2. Anyone who uses the term real hip hop.

"Real Hip Hop" is a term that I've always heard the Underground Rap Fans always use.

"Oh, you guys can have the Jay-Zs and Nas' and Jadakiss' because that's not real hip hop anyway".

I don't think I've seen anybody in the Underground rap thread say that and be serious about it.

                                Regarding Chief Keef

I like him rapping about teen violence in chicago

but I don't think he is a good "rapper". Like if he were to start rapping about money, cars, and girls instead of inner city violence I think he would suck

interesting to see what develops in his career
