This made me go like this -_- same time though, this is an example of beat makers/composers and producers being two different things.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
He leaked it himself, and did it in a very cool way IMO.
SpoilerAs you can already guess, J.Cole's sophomore album Born Sinner has leaked in it's entirety tonight. It's interesting to note however, Cole essentially leaked the album himself.
Tonight J.Cole held a worldwide Born Sinner listening session in eight different locations, stretching across the United States into Canada. Fans in those eight respective cities could hear the album in full, by showing up to the specific coordinates with their iPhone and a pair of headphones. After downloading an iPhone application the album would stream, only once, in unison to all devices at each designated location. Needless to say, Born Sinner, in full high definition quality, was ripped from that streaming application and uploaded to the internet. Although downloading the stream wasn't the intended goal, Columbia Records of course had to see this as a unpreventable bi-product of the listening session.
These days it's not a matter of "if" an album will leak, but rather "when" it will leak. With that in mind Cole essentially took a preemptive measure to leak the album on his own terms tonight, while at the same time providing fans across the country with a free and memorable experience. With an official June 18th release time will only tell if this tactic will pay off when it comes to album sales, as Cole will compete against releases from both Kanye West and Mac Miller.
While Born Sinner is still not available for purchase, you can pre-order the album on iTunes.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Ahhhh, the temptation is a mother****er.
I held out on listening to Sideline Story until I bought the cd and was planning on doing the same with this one (and Kanye's). But damn, it's like an apple dangling from a tree, lol.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
