I don't know if Dre was sick or what, but that was one low energy performance. Maybe he got frustrated from the early technical issues or maybe it was the crowd. Dude was giving no ****s. Hate that Killer Mike got cut for Future even though it did seem like he(Future) got kicked off unexpectedly.

I think he was pissed at the crowd. He started with a bit of energy, but died off right about when Big Boi did his solo stuff. I'm also 99% sure Outkast hates performing "Hey Ya" .

I'm mad about the Killer Mike thing too.

When they performed "Hey Ya", they looked like an 8 year old who's parents were making them dance in front of company.


3000 was understandably rusty and it seems like as soon as he shook it off, the crowd just killed his energy. I still marked out like a fool though. The Twittersphere was more into it than the crowd.

Yeah, him doing "Hey Ya" with his back to crowd and standing still was probably telling of both points.

Is there a link to watch the full OutKast set on replay?

I was only able to catch the final 20 minutes or so live and it was quite disappointing - Andre 3000 was particularly average and disinterested. That "cube" set was weird too.

They are rumoured to be headlining a big Australian festival this July as part of their reunion world tour, which I was super keen for, but this first performance has kind of killed my vibe for it.

I wouldn't let this first showing discourage me too much. This wasn't really a Kast crowd. If you're a real Outkast fan and you get a chance to see them live, I would take it.

Yeah, there's a real change in how 3000 was acting in the beginning of that compared to the end. I did see that someone said he was real upset with the audio issues.
