Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

This is a really good track right here. Culture VI featuring Royce Da 5'9" and Poizun - Never Had A Clue

    Check it out.

EDIT: Also this is the supposed, or damn close instrumental for a new Slaughterhouse project, which is titled Wack MCs. This is fire, I've been waiting for them to leak this for a while now, apparently it's done but still nothing.

Also, I haven't been this into hip hop in a long time. All hail Joe, Joell, Royce, and Crooked I.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

What are some of your guys' favorite hip hop beats?

I have a lot, but right now P. Diddy's Victory stands out.

Shook Ones Pt. 2 (Havoc), CREAM/Da Mystery of Chessboxin (RZA), Grindin' (Pharrell), Banned From TV (NORE... don't know who produced it), Line Em Up (Just Blaze)... I LOVE the beat on Juelz's The Second Coming (Air Force 1's commercial), Diamonds from Sierra Leone/Stronger (Kanye), Boom/Nas is Like (Priemer), Punchout (Statik Selektah).

So many more I can't think of right now. I'd post vids of these, but I gotta go.

What about you guys, what are some of your favorite beats?

Favorite beats and I don't know all the producers so I won't list any: Wu Tang Triumph, Mobb Deep Quiet Storm, Memphis Bleek Is That Yo Chick, Consequence The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, Big Boi Royal Flush, Clipse Grindin, Goodie Mob Cell Therapy, Lil Jon What you gon' do; I Don't Give a ****; Roll Call, Mystikal Here I Go; The Man Right Chea, Tear Da Club Up Thugs Playa Why Ya Hatin', Damn near any 3-6 beat, way too many to list, Paul Wall Sittin Sidewayz, Still TIppin (The Mike Jones and Chammilionaire versions), Lil Keke Southside; Chunk Up the Deuce, and now I'm going too much in one direction. Too many beats to list that at any time I'd consider a favorite pretty much.

Yea I got tooooooooooooo many beats to list if I were doing all time favorites.

But one beat I have been messing with from the get go has been Shawty Lo's "Dey Know" beat. Like everywhere im at I am either whistling it or trying to recreate it and that beat seriously goes so hard.

Honestly, right now Ross is winning when it comes to behind the mic. 50 is doing all this crazy stuff that isn't involving rap at all.

My bad. I didn't mean to say Ross' was any good, but to me it was 'better' than 50s. 50 has fell off so much, it's crazy.

Honestly both 50 and Ross suck as rappers currently(coming from a 50 fan)but Ross is forgetting that this is 50's specialty.

The only thing Ross could really say is "50's a snitch" which the whole world pretty much knows by now. Even one of 50's biggest "rival" Game has said that 50 is punishing Ross right now and you if Game of all people is saying that then you know something ain't right lol.

But at least we got something that should keep us entertained through this since ain't nothing else has really been going on in terms of music.
