I wasn't the biggest Heroes fan in the beginning, but I like where it's going. I'm in now that they're renegades and Sylar looks like he's getting a Dark Apprentice.

In a related note, Milo V(Peter) has a comic with Top Cow, so I got to hang with him a little this weekend at the con. He's a really cool dude. Loves comics. One of the best things about being a comic artist is that famous people who love comics are happy to meet you. Very humbling and energizing at the same time. I put a pic of me and Milo up in the arena.

Hopefully the five stay together to keep the storyline tight. A big problem with Heroes is the big cast - it loses too much focus. Now you have five main characters together, Claire, Nathan and then Sylar.

Pretty cool episode. Please don't let Hiro time travel again, though. Just let him like...freeze time and that is it.

Blair Butler reviews comics for G4. She's real nice too. After the show on Saturday, we all hung out at the TC booth for a while waiting for the G4 crew to get back so she could run an interview with Milo, so we chatted for a bit. That's the blonde, btw.

The tall black dude is Lesean, a very close friend of mine. He's the character designer, storyboard artist/co director of the Boondocks. Definitely give his deviantart a look.

Thanks a lot, Kash. Honestly, this part is a nice, humbling, exciting side effect of the other part. I had a few artistic heroes talk to me this weekend about respecting my work, and that's what really has my head in a twist right now. It's just amazing to have the respect of your "peers", which I put in quotes because I still look up to these guys. Thanks a lot though, man. My former VP of editing is a 2k9 freak, btw.

I'm disappointed with it, but the writers are going to have fun with him switching powers to get out of complex situations. Plus the five who have banded together are all going to have to rely upon each other instead of relying all on Peter.

How the heck would Peter touching Ando work?

All in all not a bad episode tonight. Even though I've been a skeptic of the specials vs humans direction they're going, at least its been entertaining so far. That's all I ask.

I didn't like seeing Daphne die off like that. It seemed like they just brushed her underneath the rug. Claire is still getting on my nerves. I'm not sure how I feel about Sylar and a side-kick.
