GNR, I love those two CDs. I still listen to them every day in my car. I love how they put out two tapes that year. They were only about 1 or 2 weeks from each other. We had to wait in line from them too. It was wild.

To add to my list a couple compilations that I think are key:
Dick Dale - King of the Surf Guitar
Hank Williams - The Ultimate Collection
Stray Cats - Runaways
Carl Perkins - Original Sun Greatest Hits
and I somehow forgot this brilliant album by Sam Cooke - Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963

Another vote for the Temple of the Dog recommendation. Every song is a gem and it is some of the most beautiful rock music I've ever heard. You might also want to give Mother Love Bone's "Apple" a try. I've really been digging this lately.Washington State University Cougars
Seattle Mariners
Seattle Supersonics
Spokane Indians

Re: Must Have Albums (Of the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90's)
Mobb Deep - The Infamous
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
Notorious BIG - Life After Death
Puff Daddy and the Family - No Way Out
Nas - Illmatic
Jay-z - Reasonable Doubt
That's all I can think of for the 90s. I'm sure there is more.Comment

I second the Mother Love Bone suggestion.

I have an album to mention in case anyone was using this thread as suggestions as well. My friend gave this suggestion to me.
Derek and the Dominos - "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs"
Obviously everyone knows Layla, often confuses it with just Clapton but it's wonderful. Definitely something to have in your collection if you enjoy bluesy rock in the least.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Damn, I didn't realize that. You always have the most extensive list so it's easy to overlook some stuff.
What are your favorite songs off that album?
Mine would be after one full listen: Layla, Bell Bottom Blues, Have You Ever Loved A Woman, and Key to the Highway
Currently listening to: Pearl Jam's "Ten".Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
