I thought Dwight was hilarious tonight. The opening segment was funny when he "pranked" Pam. The episode was average at best and the last part with Andy getting his ear pierce was funny.

I saw on yahoo that the "Kelly" character (Mindy) is getting her own spinoff show. Should be interesting since I think her character is funny.

It had it's moments but didn't do much for me. Would have been acceptable as a mid-season episode, but not the one before the finale.

Also, I found it odd that there was no preview for the finale after the episode.

I laughed maybe once during that episode. It just seemed to be filler. Like they thought the network said 17 episode this season and they found out they meant 18 and had to rush it in.

I didn't think it was as horrible as you guys are making it out to be... it was definitely not one of the best episodes, but it was just a fun ep before the inevitable dramatic elements/cliffhanger in the season finale. The plot was kinda thin (Michael suddenly decides that espresso and 'disco' are what's hip), but the interactions were funny and there was some plot development with the Jim/Pam thing.

I liked Dwight's 'prank' on Pam, Michael using the old "I have a cookie" trick on Kevin, Andy's ridiculous Janet Jackson chair dance, and Dwight feeding Phyllis carrots... It wasn't as good as the last few have been, but it was on-par with most of the rest of the season IMO..

Maybe I'm reading to much into it but that is what I took from their interaction.

I think you are reading a little too much into it with the Kentucky Derby. It was just that Dwight was talking about his horse and doing the same thing to it, and then he starts feeding her carrots like a horse.

Didn't think the episode was that bad.

Is it old news about the girl that plays Kelly?. She signed a two year, seven figure contract that has her developing and starring in her own show, while continuing to write, produce and act in The Office.
