Man I so didn't see that coming with James Earl Jones. The karaoke bar had to be the highlight of the episode. Anybody else think that the ladies plot line fell flat?

Yeah other than JEJ I was disappointed in this episode. And even then, something about his delivery was weird. This was an odd episode.

I'm not going to argue humor, because obviously that's subjective; but that was one of the scenes I thought was just pointless because they keep writing Sheldon the same way.

Every other character has evolved to some degree over the years, but Sheldon does not. We get it, he's socially awkward - they all are - but here's Leonard in a relationship with Penny. Here's Howard actually being married, here's Raj talking to women, here's Sheldon...still doing the "you're in my spot" character routines he was doing in the first season.

I don't know...that's my problem with the show. I can watch it from time to time, but if I watch with any sort of regularity I just end up getting bored with it because they put a lot of focus on so little character.

Was the ending kiss enough "growth?" This season, though sometimes very subtly, they've been moving Sheldon and Amy's relationship along. I cant wait for the *coitus scene to finally occur. Lol. I love this show so much I'm tempted to DVR it for awhile without watching it just to be able to have a marathon night with it.

This is one of me and the wife's top 3 shows.

Sheldon has gradually evolved. If you watch the first season he's very annoying. Would be hard to handle. They've definitely made it settle down more. He's now tolerable. He cracks jokes.
He giggles.

Yes, when him and Amy finally do it, which you assume eventually will have to happen, that will definitely be an interesting and comical episode.

Saw this this morning on tvbythenumbers.


CBS boss Les Moonves told analysts in a conference call earlier today that The Big Bang Theory will launch next season "on some other night", confirming the sitcom's move away from CBS' newly acquired Thursday Night Football.

That sucks. But maybe BBT could be the replacement for HIMYM since CBS is desperate to fill that timeslot.

Can't have it Wednesday unless they want to also move Survivor(which was hard enough for them to move out of it's Thursday night timeslot a few years ago) and Tuesday has NCIS, so unless BBT airs at 9pm or something, it'll prob just be on Mondays.

Cause mondays soon will be 2 Broke Girls,Mike & Molly and MAYBE Mom. Not to mention CBS also has a new show premiering right after HIMYM ends. So they already have a Monday 8-10 lineup planned for comedy night.

Only 6 games, tops, will interfere with the broadcast schedule. So, there will still be shows on Thursday. Just not BBT, because you don't put your cash cow serious on an irregular schedule. Two and a half men would be a possibility, or maybe a couple of dramas. I don't see CBS going to only one block of comedy.

Had to go back and looks twice. Sole focus was on Penny didn't even notice Bernadette. Haha
