The second any of my shows end I press delete, I don't even let the preview for next week come up at all. I've also unliked every tv show I watch from Facebook. I've had so many things ruined on there Facebook pages.

The show was so good last night, so many parts had me laughing. Bob needs to be a permanent character on the show. When he put the Light Saber through himself and moved it around and was like "I had to try" Lol-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

I thought the guys going to Star Wars great but I'm just not into watching Sheldon's love life. I don't find it that funny, but it was pretty funny this week when he told Penny of his plans, but anytime those two are together is gold.

I think the great Bob Newhart might have reservations about going full time at his age, but he certainly is funny when they use him.Comment

I mean, they can't really use the character full time anyway. He's dead; it works occadionally, but if he was on every episode, it'd quickly get to the point where Sheldon would need serious help.

Not only that, I just don't want to see this character in every episode. A couple, three times a season is plenty.Comment

Lol BBT being sued over the Soft Kitty song, apparently using it without permission from the owner,or in this case, her daughters since its from some poem their mother had published a long time agoComment

Re: It All Started with a Big...BANG!: The Official Big Bang Theory Thread
The way I'm reading it is that in 2007 the publishers of the poem granted The Big Bang Theory permission to use it, but failed to get permission from the heirs of the poet, Edith Newlin, who died in 2004. The company, Willis Music, is still alive and well in Kentucky. I think the Newlins' attorney is claiming it was clear on the book's acknowledgment page and where the lyrics appeared that Newlin was the author and that it was BBT's responsibility to deal with them directly. The book, "Songs For The Nursery School" , (1937) contains several songs/poems from several different authors.Comment

Not sure how such things work, does it really matter if you bought rights from someone even if they didn't have the rights to sell? It would be really easy for someone unscrupulous to create a fake company and just "buy" rights to anything.
Seems legally the owner of the rights would have to sue the production and it's up to the production company to sue who illegitimately sold them the rights in the first place.Comment

Yep same way stolen property would be handled. Even if you didn't have any knowledge, you were illegally using it, so you have to pay the correct owner and then try and go after the person who illegally sold it. In this case though, doesn't sound like the publishers did anything wrong as they didn't own the rights unless they handled the rights.Comment
