That's going to be awesome. Hopefully Circa reaches their full potential in that one

I just got the new Circa.. two songs in... I'm disappointed! LOL

I hope the other 17 songs are legit

Edit: OK WTF is this BS? Watered down piece of crap.... F you Atlantic for messing this up.

Anthony never gets rowdy. I am so sad right now.

I gave the first few songs a listen through when it was streaming on their MySpace, and honestly, besides Imaginary Enemy and Get Out, nothing really caught my ear. And I would've eaten up anything that sounded good, because I've been on some kind of Circa Survive binge the last few weeks.

I'll have to give it a more serious listen through when I get the chance. Though it wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't move me as much as the 1st and 2nd albums do/did, because once you get to the 3rd release from a band, they start to sound a lot different then they did when they first broke onto the scene. Which is cool that they mature, but sometimes I wish they would stick with what they got them where they are.

I like Secret & Whisper's new album, "Teenage Fantasy", though. Lead singer has high vocals just like Green, with a sound similar to Saosin when Green was with them.

I was on a crazy Circa binge too, and funny thing is I didn't even realize Circa was comin out with new stuff.

So basically I get their new album the day it leaks, which was a few days later of me hearing they're coming out with it.

Anyway, the best I can sum it up as is Anthony Green's solo stuff meets his band's instrumentation and filtered out by the major record label that is Atlantic.

All in all that equals a watered down mess. A tame, totally not Circa album.

I just found out tonight (thanks to Rock Band Network) that Jonny Craig (formerly of Dance Gavin Dance) is in Emarosa now (I know I'm super late) and that he also has a solo album.

I always hoped that he'd be in a band with less screaming so his voice could stand out as I think he has one of the best in all of music. And listening to his solo album all the way through proves that. Stellar work.

If you haven't heard it, download the album "A Dream is a Question You Don't Know How to Answer". Worth it.

I actually really enjoyed his work in dance gavin dance. Nice stuff to counter the screams.

I can get about 3/4's of it depending on who the screamer is. Some guys i can't understand at all.

I'll be honest, I kind of faded away from that scene for more classic rock so I've been out of the loop for a while.

Honestly I was disappointed by The Emptiness. It was ok but compared to their other albums, I thought it was a pretty weak showing. Still love Alesana though.

Yeah his stuff in DGD was good. Royal Ocean & Downtown Battle are my favorites.

Ah, same for me. I've been listening to more Indie now.

Checkout Craig's stuff on Ghost Runner on Third and Isles & Glaciers albums. Awesome.

In Fear & Faith is a good post-hardcore band. Their Your World On Fire album is great. New stuff is coming out next month!

Kinda disappointed that Craig Owens left Chiodos though, he made them what they were.

I heard Alexisonfire broke up. They've been one of my favorite bands for years, sucks to hear.

                                .......

Anyone listen to His Statue Falls? I'd say they're Post-Hardcore/Electronic, it's really catchy.
