SpoilerReally, though, it involves the potential/rumored outcome of an "early" scene...
SpoilerLast chance.
Spoiler-It's now being rumored that during the first Bane and Batman fight, Bane will, in fact, break Batman's back as he does in the Knightfall storyline.
Link
SpoilerNow, this would definitely make sense with the earlier rumors that Bruce Wayne gets lowered into the Lazarus Pit in the movie, and would also fit with why there were rumors about Alfred being involved in a hospital scene (visiting Master Wayne). Interesting.SpoilerAny chance that Bruce would pick...the guy who took his place in the Knightfall comics? I forget his name, Damien or something?
If so, that's a mega win.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Spoiler
Well, considering the earlier character rumors concerning Catwoman, I can see Selina Kyle stepping in while Batman is out.

Damian is his son who was recently introduced. You're referring to Jean Paul Valley...at least I think that was his name. The guy went nuts in the comics.Former OS Editor.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerThat was something that seemed to be hinted at in one article I read...and it could explain JGL's role in the movie, or at least a potential role for him.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerThat would be AWESOME! Knightfall is probably the 2nd best batman series of books, IMO. If they do a rough parallel, I'll be very happy.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerKnightfall was a good storyline tho the conclusion to it back in the day was goofy as all hell. Least with Nolan doing this it'll be more grounded in reality. In another sense though i'm kinda disappointed as I want something completely fresh.
Oh well...This'll still be a real awesome film.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Someone has been spotted on the set
LINK
SpoilerSomeone who played a very integral role in the first of Christopher Nolan's Batman films, 'Batman Begins' has been spotted on the London set of the third and last of Nolan's series, 'The Dark Knight Rises.' Consider this your final warning if you don't want a cameo or possibly something much more ruined for you.
The person who was spotted on set was the venerable, Liam Neeson. The actor took on the facade of playing a man named Henri Ducard in 'Begins.' Late in the film, it was revealed that he was actually Ra's al Ghul, an incredibly cunning and intelligent villain of Batman's who in the comics through the aid of something called the Lazarus Pit achieves immortality, or something very close to it.
It's been known for some time that actor, Josh Pence is playing a young Ra's al Ghul in 'Rises,' but things are still far from clear as to how the character fits in. There's speculation that scenes involving Ra's will be flashbacks, and that his daughter, Talia will be one of the main villains. Neeson's appearance as the older Ra's who appeared in 'Begins' doesn't answer any questions directly, but it does open up a lot of possibilities.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

I expect something based loosely on that...because your talking about 3 years and hundreds of comics in story development for that series."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
There's a poster/banner floating around the net from a recent Expo which is sporting a new suit for Bats.
Spoiler
Also, TDKR and Super-Man might be skipping out on Comic Con this year.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Personally I was hoping they'd go back to something a little more like the Batman Begins suit just with the head movement the TDK suit had, but that one's alright.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
