Smith's a good talker, and has a great memory, even if he's seen it three times. Awesome Bane impersonation as well.

Makes me wonder why Cop Out sucked so badly.

Because it wasn't his script. If you've never seen them, check out his Q&A sessions. Some are on YouTube and others on Netflix instant. He goes into almost excruciating detail about any question he's asked. Some very funny stories about working on the Superman reboot before it became "Returns."

Actually the academy nominates 5-10 films. Last year they nominated 9 films for Best Picture.

This film does not deserve a Best Picture nomination in my opinion. I think The Dark Knight Rises is a good summer blockbuster film, while something like The Dark Knight is more of an engrossing crime drama, and worthy of Academy Awards.

(Not that the Academy Awards get everything right though.)

I absolutely loved it. I still like The Dark Knight a little more but that's because I liked The Joker more than Bane. Bane was a very good villain as he brought more of an action, ruthless aggression type of criminal compared to Joker.

Anne Hathaway absolutely killed it as Catwoman. She was much better than I thought she would be and arguably stole the show. Also, I never realized how sexy she is til now.

She's the reason I went to see it again. This IMO was her movie. She killed it. Nothing like seeing her on that batcycle, if you know what I mean Bane comes in really close second, but by far Hathaway was my favorite actor/tress in this film.

Both times I've seen it, my eyes kept drifting towards the right corner of the screen.

Nolan is well known for his close-up camera shots... Where the hell was our close-up during that scene?!?!

But this is all only the middle of the movie. The end sees Jack Sparrow saving Batman from Davey Jones' Locker and Two-Face taking over as the new Darth Vader for the Empire.
I remember reading this a few days before the movie released.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
