The one by me in NJ is closing. Never really shopped there anyway because there was a Best Buy right across the street from it.

Damn, I got one right the street closing and one right by job closing. I'll definitely be stopping them both to see what kind've deals they'll be having.

On a smaller note, one of my friends that I used to work with at Sears works at one of the stores that is closing down and the messed up part is that he JUST got promoted to a manager over there, so that sucks for him.

BTW...I'm a little confused by this. Is it saying that the stores on the list will be closed for tomorrow ONLY and then reopen on Wednesday or will be they be closing for GOOD tomorrow?

Crazy. The CC in Norman just opened like 3-4 months ago and it's on the closing list.

I had something to return to my local CC, so I did it last night. Got there and it was like a swap meet inside. LOL

People were taking staplers, paper, every odd and end thing you could imagine. Yesterday was their last day of operation and are now officially closed along with 6 other stores within 50 miles of my house. I checked CC.com this morning, and searched for stores, none of those even come up anymore. I mean, I figured they would have at least stayed open until the end of the year, but I guess they are transferring all merchandise to other stores.

Do you have any idea what prices were like there, EG? Were all the electronics seemingly bought out or something?

The one by me isn't closing, though I'm surprised to see CC closing in Tyson's Corner, McLean and Charlottesville. I guess mine does pretty well even though I don't really shop there much anymore.

I loved their deals but usually just bought stuff online.

No deals except open items. They had the display 360 for $120, the display Wii for $200, the display PS3 for $220.

All boxed, sealed items were regular price.

Only one NC store is closing...in Charlotte. Our economy must not be that bad here.

the one near me in Clarksville is closing.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
