Havent seen any. Dell.com has been running some 15% off coupon codes that have worked on the 360 console, so they probably could be used for the hard drive.
NewEgg.com has it priced for $15 off ($135). Ebay has some for less.

        FYI:
2 with 1 free is on right now. The store nearest me did not have the signs up but I went to one a little more down the road to pick up Mirrors Edge used and they had the signs up.

I have something better than this stuff

Company that laid my wife off is going out of business and they're moving back to Canada

They just said sell everything in the office you can, Monitors, TV's, computers, laptops, desks, servers, you name it.. all new

I get to go in on the weekend when noone is there and pick what I want to get.
You can't even get a full computer and flat screen monitor for 200 bucks on Black Friday

Who's got the best deal on laptops this year? My parents are shopping for one and they don't need anything fancy (surf the web basically) but I'd like to help them find something that would last.

Someone on another website pointed out you can get the Sony S350 (Profile 2.0 BR player) for $149.99 on the sonystyle website with the e-coupon code: DISCOVER50BR

IMO, it's worth the $20 difference to upgrade.

My dad getting a Philps 1080P t.v tomorrow and wants to get a home entertainment theatre to go with it, however the ones they have don' come with a blue ray player.

I'm trying to talk him into getting a PS3 instead. This wya we get a good Blu Ray player and i get a new video game system. But he found a Blu Ray player for $198 i think.

Now my question is, how good of a Blu-Ray player is the PS3? I've tried to find a good bundle, but there's none. I might just let him by a stand alone Blu-Ray player instead of a PS3

                          Re: Black Friday 2008

The PS3 is great for a few reasons:

                          1) It's also a PS3 (duh).

                          2) It's supposedly the best DVD upconverter around.

                          3) It allows for firmware upgrades. For instance, there were BR 1.0 players (like the PS3) that couldn't upgrade to 2.0, but the PS3 can through a USB flash drive or something of another. Basically, your PS3 will always be up to date with the others.

                          4) This is a big one for me, but it's also a TrueHD and DTSHD decoder and allows for TrueHD and DTSHD passthrough. My receiver does not enable these two things, but will do passthrough if the source allows for it, which the PS3 does. I know that not all of them do this, especially since this is one of the things the PS3 had in its update.

                          5) Not sure what kind of storage devices other BR players are, but this one can store as much BR utility as your HDD can hold.

                          6) There are any customizable options for video, audio, and even energy saving settings (it has its own sleep timer, but it's more of an idle timer).

                          7) Let's face it, someday there will be movies available for purchase through the PlayStation Store. Here is just another opportunity.

                          Hopefully those help.

The PS3 can do a whole lot more than a stand alone BR player....it's meant to be a multi-media center. It's nice to be able to wirelessly connect to any desktop or laptop in my apartment and stream music from them over my surround sound speakers. Of course, you can go online, download demos, free online gaming. The P3 is worth the price of admission.

That being said, the Sony stand alone BR player can be had for $150 today.

Saw 5 people tented out at Best Buy. I don't know how you can give up Thanksgiving to get a small discount on electronics.
