I saw today and I thought it was decent. Wasnt loving Will's acting in this but I think its probably Rosario Dawson's best performance of her career.

I agree about Dawson. I've never liked her but thought she did a very good job in the film. But, I do disagree about Smith. His character was lonely, felt deep guilt, and was determined to carry out a plot that only he and his best friend knew about. He had to hide everything from his brother.

I thought he played the part really well.

I saw it at midnight and it is extremely sad but I liked it.

I thought it was okay. Could have been better, but don't feel like I wasted my time. Dragged in the middle though.

Wasn't your point that, like it or not, 9th was a "great" piece of music?

He said that he doesn't like it and doesn't think it is great.
He can like it or not, no problem there. If he doesnt think it great hes wrong. plain and simple. And if somebodies gonna argue that beethovens 9th is bad music then your.... and probably think that.....

And that is where we're just going to have to agree to disagree. Taste, especially in music and movies, is subjective. And if you want to try and argue that, then you're wrong. Plain and simple.

Moving on, though, let's get this thread back on track and keep it on the movie "Seven Pounds" from now on.

Just finished it, and I liked it alot. Spent damn near the whole movie guessing with my wife about what was going on. I agree with positive comments on the job Rosario Dawson did, it was easily her best and I am a big fan of hers. I feel the same way about Will Smith, I think he did a great job. There are a lot of scenes where he tells the story with his facial expressions and man I just think he did great. The same can be said with Harrelson, especially the first scene where he is talking to Smith's character on the phone. Really good and emotional movie.
                  PS: You guys are great.

Saw it thursday and just wanted to echo the sentiments about Rosario Dawson's performance. I liked the film, but they need to tone down the talk about a "life-changing 7 seconds".

Not really. 36 on metacritic, 32% on rottentomatoes, and his second lowest opening ever.
