Seriously this is pretty depressing news. You'd think an electronics giant like CC could survive this economic downturn.

If this anything like when the CC closed near why I lived, there won't be any deals. Once people see 10% of everything, 90% of the inventory will be bought off by consumers, before they can raise the discounts.

Great liquidators, the sleeziest of the sleeze. They will raise the price of imtems by 30%, then take a discount off and tell you you're getting 60-70% off.

Don't expect to see any deals. Like was mentioned, they will mark up everything up to MSRP and give u a discount on that.

Out of the 6-8 around here, they closed all but one a month or so ago.

Pretty sad though, all that really leaves is BB. It was always nice to choose between BB deals and CC deals for games and stuff like that.

well i'm pretty sure the "extended" warranty is actually purchased by a 3rd party warranty/insurance company. So even after CC closes its doors, your product should still be covered under its extended warranty. You should be able to verify this with the warranty company.

so what happens now if you buy things with your CC card, who do you pay then?

I just paid my card off in full 2 moths ago, and If I was to purchase something when then close who do you pay.

Crap, if they filled bankruptcy people who own the stores card should get off too, that not the customers fault.

Well go buy thousands of dollars worth of **** and see how that works out.

I believe the cards are offered by Chase thus not impacted by Chapter 11.
