Nope.

I was just there and they had some $20 PSN cards out, so I asked someone if they were 10% off and he said they weren't even supposed to be out because they won't work. So he took them away. Glad I asked.

And I really feel bad for the employees, not only do they know they are losing their jobs, but they have to put up with this ridiculous frenzy of stupid people looking for crappy deals until they go out of business.

There was also a guy standing out by the entrance to the parking lot holding a sign advertising the sale in like 10 degree weather.

Well atleast all employees are collecting 60 days pay to help with the downtime between jobs, when I was laid off I got nothing so they atleast got something outta the deal.

Everything Ive read, including numerous websites, has stated that the stimulus check is not taxable and does not effect your 2008 taxes because it was not a loan/advance and was merely a freebie given out by the government in an attempt to stimulate the economy.

I can't believe the liquidators let them show that. Most people don't know about this as large stores haven't really closed nationwide like this before. I only knew about it because of CompUsa when I was comparing prices, even with 40% there weren't any good deals.

I was looking for a receiver and even open boxed stuff without any accessories were only $100 - 150 off, these were onkyo and denon.

Seriously this is pretty depressing news. You'd think an electronics giant like CC could survive this economic downturn.

Surprising, 'cause a baby Circuit City opened up less than a year ago. A Best Buy is just down the road, so no sweat for me.

I was looking at those receivers too. sad thing i just bought a onkyo receiver there for $200 open box with hdmi pass thru, and its a very good receiver. i think their top of the line onkyo was 840.00 without the 10% discount. that isn't too bad.

Many folks are complaining that CC deals are not that great. At least for now.

They have some pretty good deals by my house and my friend said that the managers are taking extra money off just cause they feel like it. He got a new computer, a nice *** monitor, and a blu ray drive really cheap. They took a couple hundred dollars off each thing he bought.

Hmmm....is it a wonder why they're going out of business? Actually I think it was years ago at a CC that an employee approached me and asked me if I needed any help. I then looked down at his name tag only to see the title "sales counselor". I asked him, "are you really a sales 'counselor'?" He said, "yes." I proceeded to tell him that my current electronic appliances at home had to be replaced because I thought they were out to get me.

Anything video games was only 10% off. It was crap discounts for anything video games wise!!! Don't waste your time until the final 2 weeks.

Also I noticed they repriced every last game even the old stuff for 360 and PS3 for $59.99. With 10% off that price. It was a joke.

They even marked up all Blu-Ray Movies to 34.99 with 20% off.

Those guys are scam artist even when they have fallen. Sad, so sad!

That is sad. No wonder they're going out of business.
