Ok just to clear something here I never said I thought Jessica Simpson wasn't overweight and could stand to loose some pounds what I said was I would rather have somebody be a couple pounds overweight than way too thin.

^^^I don't know what your trying to imply but I am not ugly or fat if that is what your implying. I work out and am in pretty good shape and I am not particular ugly. Also saying you wouldn't touch a girl who is a few lbs overweight definalty isn't a good quality IMO. People are not perfect.

If she is trying to get thicker, it has failure written all over it. Her genes won't allow the fat to distribute the way she wants.

I was implying that if I were ugly or fat, I'd change my physical standards for females. I was not implying anything about you.

        To each his own.

Personally I don't see how anybody could think a few lbs overweight is attractive.

If you were ugly or fat, best thing you could do to attract females would be to gain weight in your wallet. Money and Confidence, Money and Confidence. Looks is low on the list of what women care about. They care more about your shoes than your looks.

Unfortunately your assessment is true for most women.

"Cash is king" is something my finance professors always preached. It serves as a truth in business and "love".

It's not just a shallow thing. Women have a necessary nesting instinct. Money represents the security of the nest. So does confidence. A sense of humor works that way as well, as it implies a happy home.

Guys love a great visual, but it doesn't necessarily make us shallow. Women need security, and it doesn't make them shallow. It's just how we are made. The two biggest mistakes guys can make are to a)expect a woman to work the way a man works(logically, visually, single minded focus etc) and b)judge her for operating the way she's built (emotional highs/lows, insecurity, multitasking, nesting, etc)

Neither men nor women can afford to overindulge in their natural tendencies. It leads to imbalance, and in the context we're talking about here, shallow imbalance.

And you are how tall and weigh what? If she looks that skinny in a picture that adds 10 pounds on you. What will she look like in real life. But if you like that that is cool.

Disregarding the face I'll take Nicole.

That's why to each his own, and that's why I bolded personally. I don't like thickness at all. I like to have as little fat on a girl as possible.

^^^Nobody has 0% body fat. I think that is a completely unreasonable expectation. As far as somebody like Keira Knightly for example I don't find her to be at a healthy weight at all. It's a two street, you can underweight or overweight.

Your body actually needs a certain small percentage of fat to be healthy.

I just flat out disagree with you when you say somebody like Keira Knightly is at a healthy weight.

Gibbzilla that is a perfect comparison. I just don't see how anybody can think Nicole Ritchie is at a healthy weight in that picture. She looks she could literally fall apart if pushed over. Looks like she has an eating disorder to me. I don't want to encourage women to look like that.

I know that nobody has 0% body fat, I'm not an idiot. I'm just saying I like thin girls and I'd rather have girls on the skinny side as opposed to girls on the thick side.

I am not sitting here saying I want a girl to be a complete bean pole, I'm actually trying to get the girl I'm dating to put on some weight. She's 5-10 115. Her metabolism is VERY fast.

"Healthy weight" is a very general term. I'm considered overweight by BMI charts which is ridiculous. There are healthy and unhealthy people. You can be very thin and be healthy as well as one can be overweight and healthy.

I'm saying thick girls are unattractive to me and you keep saying really skinny girls are unhealthy. That is your opinion.

He said he doesn't like any overweight women. A typical girl that is at a healthy weight has 20-30% body fat. Stewaat probably likes them closer to 20, but he said not overweight, not underweight. He just likes 'em skinny, what's wrong with that.

^^^Your completely missing my point. I never said people can't have different preferences.

My point there is a line between being skinny and healthy and dangerously skinny.

I think that pic of Nicole Ritchie is in the dangerously skinny area. Like she has an eating disorder or something.

There is a reason eating disorders are so prevelant in the country. I don't think it is positive to make women think that pic of Nicole Ritchie is healthy.

Also there is a distinct line between flat stomach and way too skinny.
