So its OK to make fun of this now that a few weeks have passed, it has been all over the news, the pictures didn't look as bad as first reported, and now she has chosen to get back with him? I'm just curious, what was the deciding factor that broke the politically correct threshold and made you said- "I will accumulate another tasteless post to add to my thousands of others?"

What? What does having a shot at getting with him have anything to do with it? Nothing.

The let down comes from the example being set. Getting beat by a man and going back to him isn't usually the best option, if ever. There are a lot of women who are abused but afraid to say something that probably would have benefited from someone like Rhianna taking a stand and choosing not to stay in an abusive relationship.

1. You said there are a lot of little girls upset over this. But let's be realistic here: I seriously doubt you're going to have a bunch of pissed off teenagers upset over the fact that they are staying together. These little girls don't give a damn bout his or her interests because the only thing that matters to them is "OMG THE NEW CHRIS BROWN/RIHANNA VIDEO IS ON BET LOLZZZZZ".

2. I agree that her not staying in the relationship would've set an example for other women to follow. But let's not act like people didn't think this would happen where they would stay together. Especially a young couple like these two.

Honestly(and I don't mean to bring race into this)as an African American, I see this type of thing happen with us all the time.

Tyrone will be dating Nicole and for a few monts everything is good and then there's that one incident where he comes home drunk and they get into a big argument and then he lays his hands on her without being provoked. She threatens to press charges on him and get him locked up and then either one or two things happen:

A. She starts listening to her homegirl's advice saying that he's no good and she should leave him. But then Nicole will start thinking about the good times they had together and will stay with him.

OR

B. He spits a nice little game to her about how he messed up putting his hands on her and that he's sorry and he won't ever do it again and she buys that mess.

I'm not saying this is just a black thing because it is far from it but in this particular situation involving these two, this is no different than the example I used.

Like I said, I am sure there are many women and girls (well, I guess I should just say people) who were waiting on Rhianna to be a new face against domestic violence and were disappointed by the decision i.e. let down. I'm sure it has nothing to do with them wanting to be with Ike Brown themselves either. All that other stuff is beside the point.

Obviously when I said Teenagers I meant little girls(that you mentioned first)but I ain't bout to sit here and nitpick over the difference between being disappointed and being pissed off or difference between a little girl or a teenager.

Point I was trying make was that people shouldn't be surprised and pretend like they didn't see this coming and all of a sudden expect a little girl to be a glimmer of hope for other grown women.

My bad for keeps it real or if I offended you or anybody else but unfortunately in this generation, that's how it is.

Yeah...My mom's cousin kept going back to a controlling sack of ish, no matter what people would tell her. I understand second chances, and in the Barkley thread I said I wouldn't condemn him for the DUI, but getting beat the hell up like she did wouldn't warrant a 2nd chance IMO. He took it to another level.

It's sad when women can't get away, even if they have help and a good support structure. Some only identify themselves as being in that relationship...

Nope, the point is that what you said was beside the point. I said women and little girls, you changed little girls to teenagers and then even further only talked about the ones who don't care or only want to get with Chris Brown for some reason; you left out women altogether. Obviously I wasn't talking about the women and girls who don't care, but the ones who do. I'm not offended, just trying to get you to understand that what I was talking about had nothing to do with the way you interpreted it.

It's reported on TMZ, that those two are back together. The chick must be stupid, because I know she doesn't have low self-esteem. A person use you for a punching bag and you run back after you heal up. This is about as stupid as dude breaking up with Megan Fox.

That's alot of women today,though. Their old man will beat the hell out of them and the woman is right back with them the next day. Kinda sad if you think about it.
