Just out of curiosity. Do the consequences/reprecussions play any part of how you think? If you or even both of you end up in jail/ followed by a criminal record that will follow you throughout the rest of your life? God forbid you ever find yourself in the above scenarios but let's keep it real. Are you willing to possibly risk everything/or some good things going for you in life for that one good punch because you wanted the woman to be on the same playing field because she pushed you a little to far? Please answer the questions only mentioned above. Don't add any sidebars just the questions that I posed to you. Of course if you feel like responding. This is not a bash session aholbert, just wanted to see how you or anyone felt about the above posed scenario. Peace!!!!

I'm a lawyer so if I get convicted of a crime, I run the risk of losing my license. So a potential jail bid and the criminal record means alot to me. With that said, it depends on the situation. It depends on the girl. If its some girl the size of Rihanna, I wont need to hit her back if she's continously hitting me in the face. I can stop that by grabbing her. If its a bigger woman, grabbing her may not work. '

I've seen/heard about some wild **** in my life. A friend of mine thought she caught her man cheating and statred punching him in the face while he was driving. He pulled over (luckily didnt get into an accident), got out of his car and walked away (like p2k said he would do). She followed him down the highway and proceeded to punch him in the back of the head twice. He finally punched her back and that stopped her dead in her tracks. Now how many punches does he have to take to make it ok to defend himself? 2, 3, 6? In that story, he was hit about 7 times in the head and face. Did my friend complain about getting hit? No, because she knew she provoked him and crossed the line. What's funny is he wasnt even cheating.

Let me be clear: I never said I would punch a girl in the face if she slapped me. Ive been slapped and as I said before I've never hit a woman. But there is a line. I have a simple rule: Dont hit me and I wont hit you and I dont see a reason why anyone should break that rule. If you are mad, walk out or call me every name in the book...but there is no reason for you to hit me.

hitting a girl one time to defend your self is a lot different than beating the living crap out of a girl like CB did. Both are wrong IMO but each situation is different.

Now this is one girl I would probably punch.

Some of you guys take this "never hit a woman" thing too far.

It is indeed a crime if a woman beats you up just as it is if a man beats a woman up. If the cops are called, the woman can go to jail if shes doing the beating. Therefore, in my book, when things get to a certain point, it is ok to give the woman a new dental arrangement.

If a woman is constantly hitting me, hurting me physically, or coming at me with a pot, glass, etc., I'll let you guys be the chivalrous ones and just "take it like a man" or turn and walk away while shes beating you in the back of head, but me, I'm gonna treat her just as I would another man in that situation.

What I think is even crazier is that TMZ.com said that Rihanna flipped out over him getting a Text Message from another girl about when were they going to hook up for a booty call... and the last women people saw him talking too was Paris Hilton. *gags*

Zeke just quoted that out of context. Brown hasnt even commented about the Rihanna incident. Zeke is referring to a quote Brown made a year ago where he said he told his mom he was going to kill his stepdad because the stepdad was beating his mom.

If the woman caused structural damage to her spouse (which is consistent with the situation of you guys condoning violence towards women, essentially when women fight "like men" and the male cannot get away from the situation), than there is a good chance the woman would be arrested. If the male retaliates, the police will arrest BOTH. It happens all the time.

Saying that as though that living situation partially dictated his near murderous actions (in a situation he allegedly caused btw), the ahole is not taking responsibility for his actions, and instead is acting like a victim of his environment. Bottom line, the man deserves to be in prison for a long time and anyone even remotely condoning his actions is completely out of line.
