        Freakin' awesome.
That....is just freakin mind boggling. That they have the capability to take what we saw the actors doing, and turn it into the movie I watched in the theater, is just flat out amazing.

Thanks for that link, it's a brilliant video! I love watching that sort of stuff! Can't wait for the extras on the Bluray.

Just saw this for the third time on IMAX 3D, and have a fourth lined up for Friday. Still love everything about this movie!

            And also ...

After the MLK holiday, Avatar will be over $500 million domestic. The previous record for the fastest movie to reach $500 million was The Dark Knight, in 45 days. Avatar is going to do it in 32. Avatar's foreign total is now $1.11 billion, moving its total to 1.615 billion. This movie is going to destroy Titanic's domestic/foreign/worldwide record. Beautiful

The movie was good but i was expecting it to be epic. I think i have to stop watching trailers and falling for the hype going into watching these new movies from now on.

I do that with games and movies now. If I know it's a movie I'm going to be interested in, I just stop watching and reading anything about it until it comes out. There's no point. I'm going to end up seeing/playing it anyways, so why ruin it for myself?

I loved it. It was an awesome experience watching it. I thought it was over-hyped and didnt have much interest in it but I finally went to see it on friday and left in amazement.

Finally going to see this in Imax 3-d this morning..I swear every show has been sold out here in Dnever since it opened. Even this morning, for us to see it, we have to attend the 10:30 showing.

LOL @ the people who thought this would flop and not even make the 400 million it cost to produce it.

I'd say they made a little bit of a profit lol.

Can someone explain to me the experience more than the movie. What is the 3d like? Is it like the Terminator 2 3d ride in Universal studios? Is it worse? Is it like a mix between that and the 3d films in the 50's? Or, is it so immersive it actually feels like you are on the planet and its almost indistinguishable? I have an imax theater 15 mintues away and its playing there and I'm trying to see if its worth it, because from the preivews it looks totally not something I would like (the cgi doesnt blow me away at all). Just saw some more previews. Lol that the robot dude from Grandma's boy is in it.

Just go see it and find out. It's like trying to ask what a specific food tastes like - unless you try it for yourself, you just won't know. No one can tell you how it feels for you.

I haven't been on the terminator ride but when you go in the movie it will feel like you are in their world.

I don't know why people need to be convinced to see it. If you want to see it then go see it and if you don't, stay at home. There has been more than enough talk about how great the 3D is on here and in every review written about the movie.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
