Re: Madea Goes To Jail
I'm sorry but its primarily a black thing. Ive experienced this in Baltimore, DC, Atlanta and LA. You are more likely to run into a baby crying in a movie theater in a black neighborhood. Same goes for talking at the screen and the same goes for talking on cell phones. Not saying it doesnt happen at theaters with majority white theatergoers...just saying its more likely to happen in a black theater.Comment

Re: Madea Goes To Jail
See I'm not one of those people who ignore or downplay the negatives about people in my race. I dont think there is a black person on this planet who could honestly say that you dont consistently see behavior like that in black theaters. Now it depends on the movie. I didnt run into this issue when i went to see The Great Debaters at a black theater but I sure did when I saw Why Did I Get Married? and Notorious at a black theater.
But you keep on pretending that this happens at every theater. LOL.Comment

Re: Madea Goes To Jail
I really dont know. I dont know why anyone would bring an infant into a rated R movie but I saw two people bring in infants when I watched Notorious in downtown Baltimore at a theater that more black people frequent. Ive seen that happen on more than one occasion and only by blacks and in black theaters.
Now people like RedheadKingpin want you to believe that its just a coincedence and this happens in every theater but Ive never seen it. I probably see 20+ movies a year and Ive never seen that happen in a majority non-black theater.Comment

And what the hell is a majority non black theater. Last I checked a movie theater was a movie theater. But anyway. Your attitude towards the whole thing tells me all I need to know about you.Last edited by RedheadKingpin; 02-22-2009, 09:26 PM.Comment

Re: Madea Goes To Jail
I saw this movie the other day on a date. It surprisingly pretty funny---especially Madea. Took me a while to figure out that Tyler Perry was Madea for some reason."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Re: Madea Goes To Jail
LOL aholbert im assuming you've been to the Magic Johnson Theater in Largo because what you said describes that theater to a T.
But I also agree with everyone else that this isn't just a "black" thing because this happens a majority of Movie Theaters. Muvico as Arundel Mills is a good example where alot of nonsense takes place at.#RespectTheCultureComment
