Re: Anyone else's wife addicted to Twilight?

After setting a new record for midnight openings with $26.27 million at 3,514 theaters, Summit Entertainment's The Twilight Saga: New Moon has also broken the record for a single day, earning $71 million on Friday at 4,024 theaters. The previous single day record of $67.1 million was held by The Dark Knight.

It looks like The Dark Knight's 3-day record of $158 million may be in jeopardy now as well.

Let them have their fun. Women love Vampires, Men love Zombies. Hey, that sounds like a book I should write!.........

I bash the hell out of this Twilight nonsense but when it comes down to it, I wish I had a girl that wanted to see it with me in the first place...

            ...

I'm gonna go get some vodka.

I actually went to an 8am showing of New Moon with my Wife. I was really surprised how many dudes were there. I 'm a pretty big boy with my head shaved and a thick black goat...and I saw like 4 or 5 other guys like me in the theater.

My Wife loved it..and I actually thought it was a decent movie. Needs less huggy kissy stuff and more vampires killing stuff.

When Jacob took his shirt off, I swear all the women in the theater over 30 had to change undergarments( Ill leave it at that )

Saw it today. Wasn't a bad movie. Edward is annoying as hell - the story would be far better off with just the wolf kid.

Not sure why they keep calling them werewolves, though. They're nothing like werewolves; they're just wolves.

I believe they are called (amongst Wolves and Werewolves) Shapeshifters a bit in the book. Which is probably the best term.

It's so sappy and had to have been made by an emo that still lives with his mom. Sorry for the stereotype, but seriously it's so annoying how these movies catch on, and people start acting out this Twilight ****, Why are girls so obsessed with this ****. Apparently Vampires and Werewolves are a turn on?
do you mean this emo that still lives with his mom?

My wife's already been to see the movie 3 times and about 6 women from her work all took the day off to go see it twice.

Seems like a massive cash cow so they will milk this for every last cent.

For those saying it's not fair to bash this without reading or seeing it well i read the first book and it was seriously the most boring thing i have ever read. I still don't see why millions of women are obsessed with it but then again my wife can't see why i love nba 2k10 and MW2 so each to their own i guess.
