I really think he would have crossed lines if this is real.

Similar to Lupe? I've never heard a Lupe flow or line as bad as anything I've heard Asher do.

If you're looking for someone to compare him to, it's the southern dance rappers that try to get famous making up a dance. Soulja Boy, the Stanky Leggers, the Ricky Bobby guy, Ay Bay Bay dude. That's about the quality of rapping that the kid does.

You wrote this in the Official Hip Hop thread (why there's a separate Roth and Cudi thread, I have no idea). I'm wondering why Hov isn't in your top 5. Also curious as to what you think about Lupe Fiasco (my favorite new school rapper).

To everyone else, even IF this kid is real, who cares that Weezy F. Baybay is his favorite rapper. I personally can't stand Wayne, but he moves a lot more units than my top 5 combined probably. There are a lot of what I call hip-hop snobs around here. Also as mentioned (if real, lol), he's a kid. Let him do him.

                    You go to Murralyn?

I'd go, but I'm sick and well, I hate the dude and most people who like him.

Except the girls. Because if they're stupid enough to like him, they're stupid enough to have sex with me. At least a few of them.

As far as Jay-Z goes, check out The Black Album and The Blueprint. I like Reasonable Doubt and Volume 1 as well, but the production value is a little more gritty on those older albums, and I don't know if you'd be feeling them.

I think Lupe is great. I'm a little older so I don't think he uses "a lot of big words", but I could see how you could think that. If you're not into hip-hop that you have to dissect or has a message (which it seems like), then most of the stuff people are talking about is not for you. If you just want a good beat, something to dance to, "something easy", etc. then you're probably on point with your selections.

btw, my top 5 alive (right now)

I never listened to Roth, Cudi, or Drake, so I can't speak on them. I'll probably cop Drake's album when it drops though, from what I hear, he's supposed to be good.

I'm also a big Kanye fan and am wondering if you listen to him and what your thoughts are.

yea man i use to love Kanye actually i think he was one of the reasons i got into rap man. one of the first albums i got well for xmas a few years ago i got college dropout and late registation together and i loved college dropout man. he was my fav rapper and actually kanye got me to listen to jay z from jay z part on college dropout.

i also loved graduation man, but kanye done fell off to me. his last album to me was straight garbage man. like i wish he would go back to his old days man. i dont like all the singing and stuff he does now.
