I'll definitely check it out. Dude is one of those dudes who I like when I hear him, I just don't hear him that often. It's the same way with with Stat Quo and some others for me.
      PS: You guys are great.

        1. Wu-Tang Forever (Wu Tang Clan)
        2. Liquid Swords (GZA)
        3. Illmatic (NAS)
        4. The Low End Theory (A Tribe Called Quest)
        5. Whut Thee Album? (Redman)
        6. Step In The Arena (Gangstarr)
        7. 2Pacalypse Now (2PAC, AKA Tupac )
        8. The Infamous (Mobb Deep)
        9. Only Built For Cuban Linx (Raekwon Featuring Ghost Face)
        10. De La Soul is Dead (De La Soul) ((Breakadawn and Saturday, LOVE THOSE TWO SONGS!!!!!!!))

*Anything from the Wu-Tang Family can easily be on my top ten list. The reason I have Forever at the #1 Spot was the anticipation I had for that to drop and I still think it is their best offering ever.

Re: YOUR Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums of All-Time

Illmatic is by far and away my favorite hip-hop album of all time. 10--technically nine I guess--songs of perfection. I don't think another hip-hop album will ever come close to Illmatic. As for the rest of my top ten I don't even know if I can think of ten...I'm not that big a fan of hip-hop especially these days, but I'll try...

              2. Wu-Tang - Enter the 36 Chambers
              3. Madvillain - Madvillainy
              4. Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
              5. Lupe Fiasco - The Cool
              6. Outcast - Aquemini
              7. Kanye West - College Dropout
              8. Clipse - Lord Willin'
              9. Talib Kweli - Quality
              10. GZA - Liquid Swords

man, DM2 had such a sick lineup of collabs... and the songs fit the bill perfectly. When that dropped, I had no doubts in my mind that 9th Wonder was my favorite musician of all-time.

about PR & CL... I love the Main Ingredient... that album has been so good to me over the years... just popping that in puts me in such a great chill mood.

and altho Illmatic is dope on so many levels... I'm probably one of the rare few that prefer STILLmatic. That album reminds me of my good days as a freshman in highschool... the rest of my life was way in front of me... now I'm at the tail-end of college.

Just good times/good memories/good friendships related with that album.

First ten that come to mind:

BDP - By All Means Necessary
                              OutKast - Aquemini
                              GZA - Liquid Swords
Mos Def - Black on Both Sides
                              El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead
Wu Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
                              MF DOOM - MM..Food?
                              Murs - 3:16
                              Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030

Black on Both Sides and Liquid Swords are definitely top 2 for sure, though.
