It's only been like three days, but I've been up playing with it most every night. It's beautiful. WebOS is just really, really cool. Of course there are a few things that DEFINITELY need to be added/fixed/worked on, like individual settings for texts/calls, and some syncing issues with FB and GMail.... but with the app capability and the updates that are coming, I'm definitely not worried. I don't think I can go back to other phones anymore. It's just so streamlined. Everything just "makes sense" when it comes to natural intuition.

I'll give it an 8.8 out of 10 at the moment.

How did you get it, I'm on a waiting list. It's amazing the Palm/Sprint would not have enough units to satisfy demand, they probably lost thousands of customers, especially with the new iphone coming out next week. And you wonder why some companies fail, I'm sure Apple will have plenty of units.

We came up at some at a Radio Shack. I suggest looking there if you can't get ahold of them otherwise. We had our names on Best Buy lists but those bastards either haven't gotten another shipment yet or they simply tossed the list aside.

Is this the Touch Pro2? I am definitely liking how this phone looks! The whole touch aspect with the slide out portion is... freaking awesome. How much is this? I'm going to choose to pay top dollar to buy the phone outright instead of getting bogged down in some contract with a company, which I'll regret later on I'm sure.

Yessir. The Touch Pro cost $579 but it dropped by $250 after signing a contract and with the rebate. I would expect the Touch Pro 2 to be around that.

LOL yeah I heard and even saw ppl were getting upset about all of their dropped calls and everything. Thats where I give Verizon and some other companies the nod, and I would love to go back to Verizon but I HATE they plans. And just like everybody else said in here Sprint has the best plans really, but I've been hearing and seeing how Sprint do they customers. And I just dont wanna be next lol.

So honestly I'm REAL confused on where I want to goto next. My options were: Iphone 3G S (AT&T), Palm Pre (Sprint), Blackberry Storm or some other phone like the EnV Touch (Verizon), & T-Mobile G1.

I guess its the roll of the dice, gotta take a chance.

Gave my phone so my Storm-using best friend can play with it a bit, and he fell in love with the it.

My iPhone-using friend, again, fell in love with it.

Find someone with a Pre so you can get some extended time with it.

8gb is not enough memory for me so any phone with only 8gb will be a no go for me.

Ha, that comes off as being spoiled.

Just 2 years back that was the best you could get at an "affordable price." But I do understand what you mean... having a fully sized iPod AND cell phone... just something I can't do without now.

lol yeah... just last week as I was downloading a song from my phone... I remember when a 4MB song used to take 20 minutes over Napster... and that was a fantastic speed at the time, IMO.

Now the only thing i'm questioning about this phone is if it's too business type for me. Just with all the conference call, business related features etc... makes me wonder if it's to fancy for just regular use? anybody have some details?
