I understand Sorkin because he's not a real actor, but what's wrong with "having" Justin Timberlake in the movie? Sure you could give it to somebody else but if they play the part with the same acting performance as JT gave, that would be considered a good thing. He did well, there's no reason to hark on the guy because of his pop singing career.

He's actually a decent actor, and is hysterical. After SNL and the two movies he's been in I've seen (Alpha Dog and Social Network) I've moved past him having been in Nsync.Comment

Heartbreak Ridge (1986) Pretty good movie where Clint Eastwood is a Gunnery Sgt. of a bunch of undisciplined Marines. Eastwood played the role of a Gunny perfectly and I give it props for being so accurate showing some of the daily routines of the Marine Corps.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

The Open Road(2009)
With Jeff Bridges, Justin Timberlake and the lovely Kate Mara. It's a father/son relationship story, mixed in with a cliche love story.
Nonetheless, love it, actually enjoyed JT in this one.Comment

The Losers. Good comic book type action with spinklings of some humerous lines. Damn trailer messed up one scene for me. I'm sort of sick of Zoe Saldana in movies, but she was okay in this.
The crew leader (Clay) looked like a cross between Robbie Barone and Robert Downey, Jr.

And the crew leader was also The Comedian in The Watchmen if you've seen that.Comment

Yeah i thought that movie was pretty decent as well. Didn't really love how it ended (seemed rushed imo) but it was a nice little action romp.Comment

Bought Inception on Bluray last month and finally got around to watching it and I did not understand it lol!!! To many interruptions coupled with the fact I fell asleep for about 10-15 min didn't help either. The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Watching Wall-E right now, one of the best looking movies ever.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

The first half of that movie made it easily the deepest animated movie i've ever seen. The 2nd half is not bad either but it's the first half that made it great IMO.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Some of the movies I've netflixed/bought over the past two weeks or so...
The Social Network-5/5. Bought on BR. Great movie, loved it. Eisenberg was perfect in his role, and Timberlake was surprisingly good as well. I wasn't so sure on this one, but it turned out great.
The Other Guys- 4/5. Bought on BR. Ferrell's character was great, didn't really like Wahlberg too much, but I rarely do. Made me laugh alot, probably the funniest movie I've seen this year.
The A-Team- 4/5. Picked this up on Blu-ray because it was on sale for 12 dollars. Definitely was worth it. A whole lot better than I anticipated. I was nervous about this one because it had a UFC fighter in it, but Rampage was alright.
Salt- 4/5. Worth a watch. I saw the ending coming from a mile away but still it was a decent movie.
Buried- 2.5/5. This was OK I guess. About what I expected. I don't know how the concept could have been executed any better, but just a slightly below average movie to me.
Takers- 1.5/5. Ugh, awful. Poor Acting, Poor Directing, Poor Writing. Sooo predictable and cliche. The only reason it doesn't get a 1 from me is because I managed to make it through without shutting it off, and I rarely give out 1's.Last edited by CC; 01-24-2011, 11:45 AM.Comment

Takers-Very cliche and predictable but I enjoyed it. I like robbery movies and thought the planning and execution of the robberies were done well. T.I. and Chris Brown were actually decent in this movie, I thought the Chris Brown chase scene was the best part of the movie. Idris Elba and Paul Walker were also good as usual. Overall the cast was good and held the movie together well.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Good movie. One thing though, I hated that flat chested girl's character in the movie. I swear she was just annoying through the whole movie and wouldn't mind her goddam business. I mean she really irritated me. Just running around like a dummy doing whatever she wanted. Somebody should have smacked the taste out her mouth.Comment
