Saw Mission Impossible 5 Rogue Nation, for the 2nd time in a row in a 4dx theater. Just incredible fun. I find it crazy the US doesn't have this type of theater yet and all they play are American Movies. Its mind blowing how awesome to see and feel it in this format, I can't shutup about it.

About the movie, Tom does a great job again as Ethan Hawk. He's crazy for doing the stunts in the movie, wow. He probably has at least 1 more if not 2 more of these movies. I hope they keep Simon Pegg in all of them he's great. I also enjoyed Rebecca Ferguson who played Ilsa too. She did great and hope she's in the next one, especially the next one will be MI6.

Lots of fun, action sequences. They also used less technology than I expected which isn't bad. Some mind games going on between Hawk and Lane.

Overall, fun summer flick, go see it.

Had no idea what 4DX was but now I do.

The local arcade/amusement park thing that was around when I was a kid had motion seats for short clips like a roller coaster and whatnot. Always enjoyed that.

But smell, environmental effects, etc? That's nuts!

Apparently Regal acquired the rights to it and it's coming or is in LA now.

Yeah its crazy, especially during a fight scene. When someone gets punched in the face, you get a little water sprayed in your face with a rumble or if its a body shot you can feel just that side of rumble and the chair tilts. Someone got swept in the leg and it sprayed our legs. It's so quick too, very intricate.

I guess I was just assuming it was a bigger theater. What else is in it specifically? Sorry for potentially turning people away, before. I just feel like maybe Edge of Tomorrow, Ghost Protocol, or another Cruise film would have served better than this one.

You mean Ethan Hunt. Ethan Hawke is an actor.

Yes though, these films don't work without Tom Cruise. He is the one who has personally kept this alive for as long as it is. He hand-picks his directors and works side-by-side with them, essentially. He is there during the screenplay drafts. If he's not attached to these, I don't care about them.

The way 4DX is described....William Castle would've had a field day with this!

Looking forward to the FF review. I'm on the fence on that one.

Exactly why I asked for it. I am going to download it on my computer and watch it but I have so many other movies to watch. If it ain't good I ain't going to download it.

Thanks for the corrections. This vid tells you what 4dx is about.

The editing they do is amazing, really spot on to what's happening on screen.

Did you see "End of Watch" (2012)?

I just saw it a few days ago, went under the radar for me didn't even know it existed - was skeptical of the format it uses from the beginning but it was so well edited that it worked. It basically uses a lot of handheld camera from the actors (or at least we think it is) and dash cams (go pro's) etc... but has I'd guess about 1/3 'traditional' camera angles, maybe less ... but it worked, it's not the greatest movie of all time, but it was really good and I'm glad I watched it (netflix) Really cool action sequences, and a unique way of doing them in some cases.

Only complaint is that the 'bad guys' were also bad actors with horribly bad dialogue... sometimes so many f-bombs that you couldn't hear the words between them F F F __ FFF __ ...kind of ridiculous to listen to. Even gangsters don't talk like that.

I was waiting for you to say this. That scene near the very end was dreadful. Cringeworthy dialogue. They should have hired real gangsters and asked them to improvise. Even if they curse, it would at least sound natural. This sounded forced as hell.

Love the movie, though. Even Anna Kendrick's minor role was great.

So true.... it was like they were trying to break The Big Lebowski "F" bomb record within one scene.

I really like this movie as well, but the epilogue (of sorts) police car dialogue I didn't think fit after all was said and done.

I think Mad Max is still the best movie I've seen so far this year. Wish I would have seen it a second time in theaters.

                                Fantastic 4

This was ehh if compared to other super hero films, to the last two FF films, they get an Oscar.

The problem was not the cast or effects but script, and pacing. The third act was so rushed while the first act kinda slow. Unlike Mission impossible which was so on point.

The Thing looked amazing, Johnny flame on was awesome and thought Reed and Sue's powers were well done too.

Overall, it's a C. Disappointed with pace, script, but liked the F4. The rest of the cast ehhh. There is this guy who chews gum the whole time that annoyed me. Dr. Doom.... Uhhh man.. Believe me, Dr Doom could have been amazing.

Definitely the worst super hero film of the Summer. See Mission Impossible , probably my favorite movie of the summer.
