    Over The Top
Only in the 1980's could you get away with this being actually released. Not one of Stallone's best moments, that's for sure, and that dang Kenny Loggins song is insufferable.

    Fixation
A 40-minute documentary on fixed-gear cycling. I really enjoyed it. I don't think I'd ever attempt this way of riding, but I see the merits to it if you're commuting in a large city. This made me want to watch Premium Rush again.

Oh, and got sucked in to watching Purple Rain again over the weekend. Was mindlessly flipping around, saw the opening and there was no need to channel surf.

Those are the first 3 movies I've watched since March. You can thank a busy work schedule and the WWE Network for that.

Should get to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 this weekend. Would like to see Cap 2, but that's likely long gone from theaters now.

        GI Joe: Retaliation.

Was about what I expected, though could have used some flashbacks or something instead of all the talking about some of the stuff from the previous movie that I haven't bothered to watch.

X-Men: Days of Future Past - Not a bombastic film by any stretch of the imagination, but the dramatic elements were great and these characters just make it seem too easy when they get all cylinders firing. Its one of the more dramatic comic book movies out and easily one of the best since the original X-Men.

*Sigh* Loggins sans Messina is typically just not good outside of an elevator or Caddyshack movie.

This movie has taught me to never watch a trailer again for a comic book movie I know I will see.

Last weekend I watched Year of the Dog

All I can say is WTF did I just watch. This was blind buy and I mean a real blind buy. I had never heard of the movie and I bought it used from the dollar store for $1.95. Of course it didn't come with a cover or anything, so like I said it was a real blind buy. The cast was pretty good with Molly Shannon, Laura Dern, Regina King and John C. Reilly.

Not really a spoiler but just in case
              Spoiler

Overall, it wasn't a bad movie, it was just completely different than what I was expecting - which isn't a bad thing honestly.

Maleficent was a very good kids film. Gorgeous film and one of the movies I wished I watched in 3d. A lot of cool flying scenes and fantasy cgi.

I wouldn't bring young kids to it, it does get dark and there are scary parts in it. Couple kids were crying on some parts.

Jolie is fantastic. The fairies were annoying but its a kids movie but adults I think would really enjoy it.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Yeah its only fair since all I been seeing with my girl was comic books movies, Godzilla and made her watch x men twice. But I wasn't bored, the cgi was amazing and it wasn't a love story, it was a parent and child story mixed with revenge.

I thought it was a nice touch that Angelinas real kid got in the movie for a bit and fookin Sharlto Copley did good in it too.

I liked this movie a lot, big fan of Liam Neeson. The last 30-45 minutes had me on the edge of my seat

New RoboCop, was pretty good and didn't expect that.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

                          This past weekend I saw:

Neighbors -- Surprisingly my favorite film of the weekend that I saw in theatres. I was enamored with Bryne and Rogan's chemistry. Wish more films would let Bryne talk with her accent. She seems so much more comfortable with it, from what I've seen of her. Not a huge fan of the party-hard frat guy shock humor, but there really wasn't much of it, which was an added bonus. I think if there was any doubt before, Rogan has officially established himself as this generations king of comedy, in regards to film.

Godzilla -- I liked it, but just liking it is a pretty hefty disappointment for me. I love Godzilla, I love monster flicks, and I love Cranston. There was just absolutely no interesting human dynamic in the film, and up until the last two-thirds of the movie, I was honestly a little bit bored. Watching Godzilla swim from Japan to San Francisco isn't as much fun as you might think. The third act was tons of fun, though. Excited that they're already working on a second film.

21 Jump Street -- Loved it. I'm sort of surprised by the fact that I'm becoming a fan of Tatum, who seems to be willing to go to all lengths to get a laugh. Hill was awesome, as always.

You're Next -- I had seen it already, and really liked it (I'm a huge fan of horror/comedy), but didn't love it as much the second time around. Still fun.

X-Men -- Not a big X-Men guy at all, or very interested in the super-hero genre, but there's not a doubt that the film was remarkably well made. Can't wait for Apocalypse.

Wolf On Wall Street -- Fun and funny, but a little too long and there was little to no value in the story as a hole. Hill and Dicaprio were great, though.
