I love this movie, its probably one of my favorite sports movies ever. Captures what real competitors are like and what a true rivalry is. I could imagine this is how Bird and Magic were.

Thats on top of great performances by Daniel Bruhl and Hemsworth, good direction, action and fantastic sound.

I was really surprised by this movie. Didn't have very high expectations going in but thought it was great. Hemsworth was really good but Bruhl was amazing.

Dawn is the only recent Apes movie I've seen, and I didn't have any trouble following it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Definitely not as bad as I thought it was going to be. At the same time, it felt like it was lacking something.

Surprisingly Megan Fox wasn't even that bad in this, but they still could have done so much better and got a more stronger presence as April.

The turtles themselves were decently done. Michelangelo was hilarious, Raphael was pretty spot on, Leo I honestly didn't really notice too much, and Donatello was probably a little too overdone in terms of him being nerdy. The CGI on them was okay. At times it kind of stood out to me in a bad way. I also think it was probably at it's worst with Splinter. Shredder on the other hand was completely bad ***. They did a killer job on him.

I'll still take the original two Turtles movies over this one any day. That being said, it's not atrocious or anything. It's watchable. I was holding out hope it'd be as good as the first Transformers but I don't think it's that either.

Anyways, I'm open to the inevitable sequel. I'm guessing they'll introduce Casey Jones (watch them cast Shia LaBeouf lol), which could be cool.

Watched the new TMNT movie today.

I didn't think it was that bad. It kept me entertained.

I woke up super early on the ship and decided to start it up at 4:30 am.

I don't know why everyone has to act like Michael Bay personally hopped into a time machine, went back in time a few decades, and ripped everyone's childhood away from them. It's a different take on the Turtles and I thought it was decent. I prefer the older movies (watched Secret of the Ooze so many times I had to get another VHS tape).

The old movies, cartoons, etc. still exist. It's up to us to decide whether to watch a movie or not.

Just watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles for the first time ever. I loved it. Very funny. Steve Martin and John Candy worked so well together.

What's funny is I really couldn't stand it when I saw it in the theater. However, every time I've watched it afterwards I've loved it. Of course, the ending can be a tear jerker.

Gone Girl

David Fincher is my favorite director and this is my 3rd favorite of his behind Se7ven and Fight Club thats how good this was. He brings out the best in his actors and the story telling was on point, the pace was a nice slow burn that really grabbed you. The media parts were fantastic and really grabbed how it is during big media crimes like this.

Great performance by all the cast, even Tyler Perry. Affleck did great but Rosamund Pike probably will get an oscar for her performance, I can almost guarantee it. Definitely a movie i'll watch multiple time.

Glen Close from Fatal Attaction has nothing on Amazing Amy. This girl was probably the most psycho bitch ever. I loved that part during the twist and she's going through her plans and moving around when she's gonna kill her self to stick it to Nick. Just ****ed up people and ****ed up relationships. And it ended great, I really thought how is Nick gonna get her back, but he doesn't, he's stuck with this psycho bitch and will be tormented for years to come.I really felt sick like the sister at the end that he had to go through having a baby with her.

The Equalizer

Another awesome movie. 2014 has been a great year for movies and i haven't seen quite a bit yet. Denzel is straight bad *** in this movie and hope he does this role for a sequel. Action sequences were well directed by Antoine Fuqua and hope he gets his hands on anothe acton movie.

Earlier I really liked John Wick but I thought this was better. Both are great action flicks though and highly recommend both.

On a side note, kinda feel sorry the Russian mob for getting their *** kicked by these guys, tough year
