There's a lot of originality in movies, a lot of people just don't see them. How many indie movies or big budget originals have you seen? You can't really blame the studios because they are scared to put out original big budget stuff because no one see's them.

I don't blame them because with how nice home systems have become, most people only spend money on movies that are spectacles and wait for movies to release on netflix/redbox/blu ray and see it at home.

Seems only Nolan makes original blockbusters these days, or at least he's the trusted name out there right now.

Going to see Battle Of The Five Armies in IMAX and Exodus this weekend.

Saw Hunger Games last Saturday night and it sucked badly.

My face hurts from laughing so much, one of my favorite holiday movies. The part for some reason that makes me laugh the most is when Chevy Chase unties the tree, it unravels everywhere and his hands get sappy then the next scene he's flipping through a magazine ripping pages and pulling on hair. Comedy gold.

              Watched it last night.

There are small little scenes that get me every year. My wife shakes her head at me saying, "You know it's coming why do you still laugh?" Examples:

When Clark opens the attic hatch and the ladder nails him in the face.

When Clark finally gets the lights to work and calls everybody outside. Clark's mom walks over and snatches her scarf off the rack with such force (Meaning she's fed up of traipsing outside every time he thinks he's fixed them).

After Clark pulls out from under the 18 wheeler and swerves to miss the plow and smashed into the x-mas tree lot sign. When he says, "Made pretty good time!" gets me every time.

Those scenes with Randy Quaid are so funny. I especially love the comment he made about the cat. Plus, the part where the uncle burnt down the tree is so funny.

One thing from that movie that has always puzzled me is this. When Clark crashes the sled into the Salvation Army donation box, why does Eddie say 'Bingo!'? I don't get the significance of saying that.

"You'll shoot your eye out." I'm watching "A Christmas Story" when it comes on TBS on Christmas Eve.

Mall Santa Claus (speaks evilly): "Ho, ho, ho... and what's your name little boy?"

Ralphie: "No! No! I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!"
Mall Santa Claus: "You'll shoot your eye out, kid. Merry Christmas. Ho, ho, ho."
                            Ralphie: "Nooooooooooo!"

A million ways to die in the west. Even at only paying 54 cents to rent this, I feel cheated. I should have known better.

Earth to Echo. I liked it. Doesn't stack up to ET or Batteries Not Included, but not bad.

Into the Storm. Okay, just couldn't get into it. Too over the top, even for a disaster movie.
