It's usually a movie... "Dinner and a Movie" programming...

Daily Show/Colbert takes Friday off, and Letterman records Friday episodes on the previous Monday. Having Fri off for Conan wouldn't be unheard of.

That's the real reason... his show is essentially going up against Colbert and Stewart since they occupy many of the same viewer base. Ultimately, I think that's a bad idea for Conan since they're so well-established and popular... but hopefully people will DVR both and watch one or the other later. He'll have to come with the big guns to get people who watch TDS/Colbert regularly to switch over to him instead, especially since their shows also function as a daily news source for many.

Plus ratings for Fridays and Saturdays are generally lower because people have activities planned... that's especially true of Conan's demographic.

What are we talking when they say he can do anything he wants? Language wise, It's Always Sunny in Philly throws around the S word with regularity. Obviously nobody will sponsor a show that uses the F word, so that's out, but I'm curious what Conan would do with almost no restrictions except for the F word and graphic nudity.

I'm intrigued.

I've seen them air Zoolander in the mornings and they let "bull****" go by, so who knows?

Great show last night.

Conan came out wearing a Canucks "O'Brien" shirt. He said a fan tossed it on the stage the night before and he thought the shirt was custom made but he later found out it was simply a shirt of the Canucks, Shane O'Brien.

They did a lot of local jokes.

Triumph's bit was lol funny.

Seth Rogen showed up to use the Chuck Norris Rural Policeman Handle.

If you enjoyed his 12:35am show, than you will have a good time. I wish they did a In The Year 2000 segment though.

While Conan mentioned NBC, he never brought up Leno.

A lot of other stuff happened at the show but I don't want to ruin it for the people that are going to the tour. Oh yeah the opening comic went on way too long and wasn't that funny.

I really wish I had paid attention and gotten tickets to one of the two nights in Boston. Would've been hysterical.

Just saw the second night in LA. Not bad. The opening act zapped the life out of me though, he was ATROCIOUS.

Liked the Triumph and the Chuck Lever, a bit too much singing for my tastes.

Nothing TOO crazy but a good show.
