Old school Filipino dad, and I'm sure that's how a lot of old school American dads were too.'

I know mine was.Don't get me wrong,alot of my friends thought he was the coolest dad on the block,and looking back at it now,he was. But he was one of those "you're gonna do it my way or else"type of dads. And when you didn't do it his way,you found out what the "or else" was,quick fast and in a hurry.


I think that's the problem with alot of these youngsters today,their parents aren't tough on them. I see some of the stuff these kids do now and the whole time I'm thinking "that wouldn't have went on in the house that I grew up in"

Coroner has ruled MJ's death a homicide. Had lethal levels of Propofol in is system. More news on the link.

Yeah...but I'm sure working for Michael Jackson made it hard to say no to him...doubt he ever had people with the balls to tell him no.

I agree. MJ most likely knew what he was doing and the doctor was just following orders.

Doesn't excuse him though. Doctors are here in part to tell us uneducated folks what we can and cannot put into our bodies. He tried to make some money by pumping Jackson full of drugs, to me he's no different from a heroin dealer. I think a murder charge would be a little excessive though as I doubt it was his intention to kill the guy. However, maybe doctors are just held to higher standards where drugs are concerned and they will go after him hard.

Others have responded but a GOOD doctor could be creative and give MJ something benign/placebo and Jackson wouldn't know the difference.

I was thinking assisted suicide would have been a more accurate charge. Jackson knew exactly what he was taking.
