Actually its a thread to discuss his death and life. I didnt see a rule or anyone state "only RIP comments". Its amazing how some people here handle death. Discussing the guys life doesnt take away from his death and its ****ing stupid to ignore certain aspects of someone's death just because they are negative.

I think the more glaring issue are the immature posts of people saying they "are happy one more pedophile is dead" and similar statements.

It's one thing to question his past, but quite another to be happy a man is dead who was never convicted of anything and had a believable story about being extorted.

Oh well, such is the make up of message boards I suppose.

I absolutely agree with you about that. I just think a thread like this is kind of useless if people cant discuss the controversial aspects of his life along with the positive aspects.

I could care less about dancing. P Diddy, C Brown, Beyonce...they're all the same, they bore me, who cares.

Michael? C'mon, he was the frickin' king. He set the standard. He did stuff 20 years ago that young 'uns still can't replicate today! Go to youtube if you don't believe me! There is a Chris Brown "tribute" to MJ, where he tries to dances like him, and move like him...but not much. MJ still is untouchable. Hell, people made careers off being a "MJ impersonator"! That is when you have made elite status, when others can mimic you and make a living off of it.

I remember when MC Hammer was feelin' it and said "I am the glove". MJ would have blown MC Hammer away in his prime. MJ didn't interpret the music, the music interpreted MJ!

I agree, had he done anything lately? Music wise?

It comes with the territory. Try to look at things from their perspective, if someone died you were convinced was a pedophile and his life was being celebrated wouldn't you see something wrong in that?

Larry King has Miko Brando on right now who was one of Jackson's best friends. Jackson was his best man and godfather to his kids. Interesting trivia bit, he was the one who put Jackson's hair out after it caught fire during the Pepsi commercial shoot. It's a little tough to watch because you can tell this man has just barely started to grieve.

I know I think Roman Polanski is likely a disgusting pig with more evidence against him than Michael Jackson, but I live the Pianist and Chinatown.

                    Does it really matter?

He dominated the late 70's up until the early 90's.

Pete Townshend once said in the 80's, the Who were burnt out mentally from the good songs they wrote in the 60's and 70's, they didn't have anything to offer in the 80's or after.

Do you think anything less of the Who or Led Zepp since they haven't done anything lately?

                    Just saying.

I was agreeing to hobert. Then I asked a second question about his music now.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. I was saying did he have anything new coming out or something already out? That is all I was asking. I was agreeing to the part about him being a pedophile. And why some don't care that he passed. I don't know him personally, so while I did like his music. I will not lose any sleep that he is gone. I feel bad for his siblings, becasue I know what it is like to lose a brother.

I agree people should be able to discuss all the aspects of his life, the good and bad, but I think if all people have to say is the "good riddance" type posts, you should keep those to yourself.

He was supposed to be going on tour in Europe starting next month I believe. I heard on the news their are videos of his rehearsals, and they said maybe those could be released at some point.
