Simply the greatest video ever. I remember as a kid I was scared ****less by this video, but I still wanted to watch it.

Man who u tellin I was scared at the end when his eyes were yellow or when Mtv was only showing Thriller once a day and they would not say when they were going to show it so mtv was on all day after I got home when I was in 4th grade.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. I was saying did he have anything new coming out or something already out? That is all I was asking. I was agreeing to the part about him being a pedophile. And why some don't care that he passed. I don't know him personally, so while I did like his music. I will not lose any sleep that he is gone. I feel bad for his siblings, becasue I know what it is like to lose a brother.

I am pretty sure that is fake. And if it isn't he is dumb. Why would you come out now. Now everyone will hate him or worst! So who knows. I still wouldn't trust him with my kids. I will say this this is was one weird person. I know why he was weird, but still he was weird. His dad did a number on him, but in the end you have to raise above all that and become a man. You can only blame your parents or dad in his case for so long. No doubt he was great. I don't know if he was the greatest, but he sure could sing and dance.

Hell of a read! One smart thing he did was in his will, he left a catalogue of 200 unpublished songs to his 3 children. The author tells the manner in which he left it to them, is untouchable to any creditors he has. Now I hope smarter people are in charge of his children, than were in charge of him.

It is interesting, but I'm not sure how much of it is true. According to Brando, who was interviewed last night on Larry King, he was in fine shape and looked good at rehearsals up until the night before his death. And the coroner's did not find any degenerative condition with his lungs. The man was addicted to pain killers and it looks like his death was a pretty cut and dry OD. The only real question is if his personal doctor can be held accountable.

I know I think Roman Polanski is likely a disgusting pig with more evidence against him than Michael Jackson, but I live the Pianist and Chinatown.

Squint, you should watch this HBO documentary on Polanski. There is a lot more to the case than what most people know.

I'll have to check it out.

The point being that, while I've heard countless people praise "The Pianist" (and rightfully so), many don't know his history.

To bad some of the most talented people are some of the biggest freaks as well.

Thats what I was thinking, but I didn't want to come out and say it.

everyone has a story as to why they become what they become. Saying Jackson never knew normal and he was in the spotlight in a culture that chewed him up and spit him out since he was 11 is not "blaming someone else"...it's discussing reasons, trying to figure out why he became the weird person that he became.

as far as the pedophile accusations, I didnt follow the trials. However, I do know that he was never convicted and people that followed the trial, like the writer of the article that rockchisler posted, have stated they didnt feel he was guilty by the end of the trial.

Michael Jackson was a very weird dude. His life was a freak show circus, especially over the past 15 or 20 years. That is an obvious understatement. However, he doesnt exactly fit the profile of a pedophile. Michael Jackson was more of a perpetual 12 yr old in an adult's body living in a fantasy land with no idea what is normal. He reminds me of the Tom Hanks character in the movie "Big". I dont know if it's because he never had a childhood or what.
