you compete every day that you are in the house, whether it is a comp or not. You play the game with the way you behave. That is why the show is called "Big Brother" (ie, big brother is watching). Jeff got lucky that the way he was playing the game made him popular the season of the CDT, but he actually did "compete" for it with the way he acted in the game. Jeff took a risk seperating himself from King Jessie and crew, and he was rewarded by the people.

Jeff got the power of Coup d'etat because of the female vote.

Another thing, I think the DR sessions should be available on the live feeds. CBS likes to give the appearance of total openness, but like Kevin said, there is too much prodding going on and they don't show it and don't allow the house guest to talk about them. Why is that? If they have nothing to hide, why can't the houst guest talk about what they were asked in the DR room.

I wouldn't say the '3 A's' shaped things more this season any more than in previous seasons.

He won the male vote also, but of course he won the female vote. You cant win a vote on any reality show on TV without winning the female vote. Why does that matter?

I imagine the winner of the HOH every week on BB UK wins the female vote also (the country votes on who gets evicted every week in BB UK). Females probably vote on reality shows more than males in the UK also.

I prefer the style of the UK(or really any of the other BB's) to the US one.

Agreed. He got the "All American nice guy" edit so of course, people (women) that care enough to vote would pick him.

I guess I prefer as little outside intervention as possible. Got no problem with a game changer (CDT) as long as it's earned ala when Mike Boggie won it.

A quick off topic question.... I've been wondering if there is anyway to view the past BB's. I started watching Year 5 but, my girlfriend has just seen the last two. I know that 1 season (3) is on DVD. But, I wonder why didn't the release the rest of them?? And is there anywhere else I could find them??

Any season with Mike Boogie and Dr. Will. I think that would be Season 2 and BB All-Stars.

I've watched BB since the beginning and I feel like Season 7 (All-Stars) is the best.

- Season 1 is by far the worst season. Season 1 is vastly different from the rest. The viewers got to vote for who they wanted out. There were no contests for positions of power. Things got so boring the Producers stepped in on Day 64 and offered $20,000 for any player that agreed to leave the house just so they could add a more interesting player into the house. If you actually want to watch Season 1, I recommend you drinks lot of coffee first. It's a complete snoozefest from start to finish.

- I wouldn't watch Season 7 unless you watch 1-6 first (One cast member is from Season 1). You will want to know the players from their previous season before you dip into All-Stars.
