Absolutely loved this past episode. The only downside is it reminded me of how much I'm going to miss Donald Glover on the show.

I'm not a Harmon-ite but Community has been my favorite show on TV for a very long time.

That said this season has not been doing it for me and is my least favorite so far (I know I'm in the extreme minority here). I'd probably rank them 2-3-1.........4-5. These last two seasons just haven't felt like Community.

I also fear it is only going to get worse once Gambino leaves. I (again in the minority) already miss Pierce and am not a fan of just replacing him with some new old guy. Say what you will about Chase, but Pierce's arch as antagonist to the study group and overall supervillian throughout the middle of season 2 was brilliant (I mean... he raped the Ducane family for god's sake!).

I'm not writing off the season until I see it in it's entirety but so far it's not for me. But no matter what happens I need my 6th season.

And a movie.

Was lighting part of budget cuts this year or something? Through three episodes, things seem dark compared to the past.

(Not in some meta 'darkest timeline' way either. )

The Troy and Abed dynamic will be greatly missed, they were a hilarious duo.

That was a classic episode, one of the series best, and a fantastic send-off for Pierce.

I haven't watched it yet BUT I ALREADY LOVE IT because of that bit of continuity.

I watched that episode a few weeks ago and tweeted "GUYS! BRITTA'S GETTING HER IPOD NANO THIS YEAR!", not thinking they'd actually remember to acknowledge that. I should've known better.

I love that I just wrote this and they follow up with a top 5 all time episode where lo and behold, Pierce is playing antagonist to the study group (those really are the best episodes!) Greatest villain ever, and this episode was the perfect send-off/ tribute to Pierce. This hit on all cylinders, including comedy, heart and exploring group dynamics. Community at its best.

Can't believe i only just discovered this thread! I love this show and the way Pierce died last episode had me dying hahaha, also when chang was asked if he ever masturbated in the study room and straight up leaves, hard to believe next week will be Troy's last episode :'(
