Reading all the stories about the renewed friction between Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase has me worried about the future (if there is one) of the show. The cast works great as an ensemble, and losing Pierce the Dickish would harm the show, IMO.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

I honestly feel like they could lose Pierce (or Shirley, for that matter) and not miss a beat.

Pierce is the weakest main character, though I hope if he is offed that they won't increase Chang's airtime.
I disagree about Shirley. She's a key to a lot aspects of the show as she is basically the middle barrier to which everyone else bounces off of.
