Re: Smallville Season 9
Pretty much me. Lois and Clark's relationship is the best thing going with the show right now. They need to move up his training. Green Arrow needs to start tying his bow in his hair.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 9
I still thought the original season of Lois and Clark on ABC with Terri Hatcher and Dean Cain was great. They focused the story on their relationship rather than Clark's powers and it made for a really good show imo. Year two they changed a bunch of the actors and made it all about kryptonite and villains and the show quickly went down the toilet and got cancelled.Comment

Might as well give him a new show. The ratings can't be much worse than some of the shows on the CW.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 9
I love this show, but the writing team is just stuck in a funk if you ask me. They have been stuck in this funk for the last few seasons. Right when they have 2-3 great episodes, we tend to get 2-3 filler/not that great episodes mixed in.
Like the whole Metallo deal. He was dispatched and gone so soon, it drives me nuts when this happens. Or going with a few episodes without Zod, except for the end of that zombie episode. I originally feel like Zod was used so wrong the first time taking over Lex's body. With this version of Zod, I am led to believe that he is not spiritual as he was made to look a few seasons back. How does this Zod fit with the Zod that took over Lex's body? There are some huge holes in the story.
Right now, Lois is the hottest and best thing going for the show. I am liking the love interest story arc between both which should have started a few seasons ago. Only time will tell how things pan out. I just feel like I am watching a rollercoaster storyline that is just going round and round.
I do think that this show does work better with a smaller cast that we have now. The last few seasons it had just gotten to be too much and thank you no Lana so far.Comment

Re: Smallville Season 9
Best episode of the season. Ollie's new "project" looks like a nice antidote for rejection, and I like the Chloe web battle with her probable new interest. Tess's triumph at the end breathes a little life in her character. Clark finally makes a move.
UPDATE: Friday's episode was #1 in the hour among men 18-34 and men 18-49.Last edited by JayBee74; 11-01-2009, 08:27 AM.Comment
