Overall I'd say The 4400 was better, but not without it's own problems, and IMO the first season of Heroes was better than any single season of The 4400.

Re: Heroes Season 4
Wow, this has me considering a return. Robert Knepper (of Prison Break) is going to be in S4. That's a nice pickup.
This season will also have 19 episodes as opposed to the usual 22-25. That's good news for a tighter story.Last edited by CMH; 09-17-2009, 04:09 PM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Heroes Season 4
Great episode!
SpoilerWhy not just have the real Nathan in a coma somewhere, with an iv in him, using Claire's blood. Or was that his body they burned in that field? Because I can see Sylar returning a lot sooner than normal and then they just write Nathan off all together.
BTW! Peter able to get multiple powers again is absolutely a wonderful thing! I'm loving it. I guess touching Sylar gave him the ability to host more again".Comment

Re: Heroes Season 4
I thought it was OK. I like the new cast of characters they are introducing but when was the last time anyone liked Hiro? Claire seems useless too. As long as they keep Peter involved I will like it. He was one of my favourite characters and I felt they totally misused him the last couple chapters.Comment

Re: Heroes Season 4
I was pretty much like "ehhhh" about the episode. I don't know, I may be over the show. I'm just trying to figure out what's their purpose? They have powers, okay, now what are they doing with them? They're not really doing anything. The only ones who seem to be trying to use them to help is Hiro, Ando and Peter, and Hiro and Ando are so boring.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Heroes Season 4
I caught up on this series with Netflix online over the summer, just finished Chapter 4 on Saturday. I DVR'd last night's premiere and I'll probably watch it tonight.
It's funny that this show gets a lot of hate from people for the last two seasons. Just like LOST I feel that this show is much better when you can watch it in bunches on DVD instead of week-to-week. It makes you notice the subpar episodes far less because you can keep the storylines moving as fast as you can watch.
Is this definitely the last season? The show has seemed to lack direction and the whole "Nathan wants to round up everyone" angle in S4 was kinda beat. Sylar needs to be more of a badass/psycho again and can we please let Peter have all his powers back?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Heroes Season 4
From someone who hated S4 and was so down on Heroes that I dvr'd last night's episodes, I LOVED it.
I hope the rest of the season follows suit as last night's episodes had great pacing and a storyline on par with S1 (thanks to a shortened season). The build up of baddies (the Carnies, Nathan, and Parkman) was excellent! I just hope they live up to expectations. I can't wait for next Monday...hope Kring keeps this up.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

It finally isn't just Sylar trying to kill people, or a rehashed "Let's have the Government round everyone up."
We have Nathan re-becoming Sylar, we have Nathan becoming a Sylar-like chracter, and we have the Carnies who I can't wait to see/find out more about.Comment
