I thought that episode was ok but a bit too much filler and a bit too slow....typical for Heroes from season 2 on.

I just hope the show starts to get onto a quicker pace because if it is an 18-20 ep season you're looking at 25-28% done and I do not want it to be some deal where the final 2 eps are rushed and we were left with half a season of slow "development" only to have the end confrontation whip by.

I just feel as though I could have missed the entire season so far, tune in and not really be out of the loop.

Quicker pace is what they gave you last year and the year before and it was terrible because of it. Season one was good because of character development. They are doing that again this season.

I agree - Season 1 was the slowest of the three, so far, and also the best. They rushed Season 2 and 3 trying to fit too much in too quickly and both suffered. They've once again slowed this one down and are letting things develop instead of pushing 4 storylines an episode.

Remember Matt Parkman's baby has the same power to fix things. Now the kid this last episode could give life and kind of heal things. I wonder if Peter getting his ability will allow the broken part of Peter to final hold more than one power.

Syler stuff was a drag on and getting boring. Will his ghost stop haunting Parkman once he forgets about the name Nathan.

Also if Peter realizes he can hold more than one power, will he travel in time to save Hiro and heal him?

I love this season so far. This weeks episode was kinda slow but I like where sylar is at. And what an ending, that was bad ***.

Yup the ending was great. They finally introduced an anti-hero to Heroes.

I agree - the Carnies are the first non-Sylar "villain" that is actually entertaining.

Everyone hated on the show for not having any good villains other than Sylar and now we have it. I'm excited/hopeful that they hang around.

If they had planned on getting rid of the carnies at the end of the season I think their plans will have changed based on their reception. And I feel dirty admitting this, but I partially enjoyed a few segments with Claire in it (even though her story arch has been awful this season).

Its a shame so many people have given up on Heroes (getting a 3.7 each week) because its as good as it was during Season 1.

I completely disagree with this. The first season was by far and away the best season imo. This season has been average.

Ugh, watched the most recent ep Tuesday and thought it was awful. Way too much Claire, way too much lame dialogue, way too much over acting (specifically by the dude who plays parkman), and way too much of a bore fest for a tiny bit of plot advancement.

How do you think there was little plot advancement? Claire finds out about invisible girl, HRG realizes people with abilities can't just go and be "normal" so he'll have to go back to bagging and tagging, Tracy is going to join the circus and Sylar is now in complete control of Parkman.

I'd say that is quite a bit of plot advancement.

Agreed. I loved the episode. Almost had too much going on. Sylar is awesome. The Claire story line is a least interesting for now--didn't think they'd go down the road of a female crush though. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I hate the facial expressions on the chick that likes Claire. She acts pretty much the same as she does on Californication, but she has a much better role in that. I don't think the lesbian relationship was needed for Claire's storyline.

Season 1 was the best, but this has potential to be a good one. I want to find out more about the deaf woman. I've enjoyed all of her scenes so far. I also want to learn where Mohinder has been. Right now I haven't really been blown away by anything but it's keeping me interested enough to keep watching.
