I was flipping through the channel's the other night and stopped on Dawn of the Dead (2004) and I never realized but Ty Burrell (Phil) play's Steve in the movie. It's was pretty funny seeing him in another role.

hahahahaha. thanks for the spoiler tag. I saw that playing on MTV the other night, too. Such a great movie (i know it's awful at times, but it's so watchable/entertaining).

I think Ty Burrell's pretty talented. His tone of voice is just hilarious.

I hear ya. To me Dawn of the Dead is like the Die Hard of Horror movies (meaning every time I see it on I have to stop and watch, even if it's just for a few minutes.)

Also, I don't know how much of it is edited on TV but, I have it on DVD and it's great. I need to get it on Blu Ray.

Yeah, i feel like i owe it to the film to see it unedited and without commercial breaks. One day.

I gotta rep PSU and mention that Ty Burrel studied at Penn State. I'm not sure if it was undergrad or graduate work, but he's a Nittany Lion.

And I love the Dawn of the Dead remake. So good. All of it.

"What's it like being with someone who was around when the Bible was written? What was it called back then, just Testament?"

"I don't want to listen to jokes."
                    "He doesn't tell jokes."
                    "Does he have a mallet?"
                    "No."
"But then how does he get hit in the head?"

Too many funny moments. The subtle jokes just kill me on this show. Manny walking into the apartment and pouring himself a glass of water as he talks about his troubles during the day. Then sitting down and throwing back his drink of water as Mitchell throws back his alcoholic drink. Just classic.

                    "Why did you have oil?"
                    "We were making french fries!"
                    "In your room?"
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

This show never lets me down. It is the best sitcom on TV, by far.

                            Loved tonight's episode.

"She still has some Martin Luther King left behind her ear".
